Markt 1, 8000 Brugge, Belgium
“Embarking on a walking tour of Bruges led by our guide Emile was a delightful and enriching experience. Emile's deep connection to the city as a lifelong resident and high school history teacher brought a unique perspective to the tour, making it not just a stroll through the streets but a journey through time and culture. The tour began at bustling Market Square. Emile explained the significance of the various buildings surrounding the square. His storytelling brought the historical events associated with the square to life, making it easy for us to imagine the bustling medieval marketplace that once thrived there. His knowledge of the city's history was impeccable, and he shared captivating stories about the medieval architecture, the Belfry, and the vibrant market culture. Emile's dual role as a history teacher added an educational touch to the tour, making it both entertaining and informative. As we continued our walk, Emile seamlessly guided us through the cobblestone streets towards the picturesque Beguinage, a tranquil retreat nestled within the heart of the city. Emile's passion for history and storytelling shone through as he painted a vivid picture of the Beguines' way of life, their significance in Bruges, and the charming architecture that surrounded us. His anecdotes and historical insights added depth to the experience, allowing us to appreciate the Beguinage not just as a place on the map but as a living testament to Bruges' rich heritage. What truly set this walking tour apart was Emile's ability to engage the group. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he encouraged questions and discussions, creating a dynamic and interactive experience. Whether you were a history buff or a casual tourist, Emile made the information accessible and enjoyable for everyone. The tour concluded with a heartfelt thank you from Emile, leaving us with a newfound appreciation for Bruges and its rich history. As a final gift, he shared with a list of his recommendations for restaurants, chocolates, and local beers. We’d gladly recommend this tour to anyone.”

“Beautiful place third time here just as lovely as my first visit”
Nieuwstraat 177, 3590 Diepenbeek, Belgium
“Well I really enjoyed this place, even as a single Diner ....I only just got to my table and before I knew it I was drinking ouzo. I have absolutely no idea how this happened so I asked for another one. Then believe it or not I was forced to drink retsina wine, and another... for some reason I could not remember what I was doing in the place. Fortunately a charming waitress suggested I should consider eating....ah that's it. Food actually was pretty good and I didn't see anybody else dying or complaining. I would like to remind you horrible critics out there that I was cycling ...and so I sped home as British people do ... in a rather deranged manner. See you guys soon, and I sincerely apologise for my courteous behaviour”
