“I stopped at the Vinorama for a while on my way back from some bird photo shooting, having suffered the usual traffic congestion going to and coming back trom Wallis on a Saturday with beautiful weather and perfect snow conditions in the alps. This is where you can taste wines from a large number of wine growers in the Lavaux region. I was particularly interested in a wine I did not know, the Plant Robert. a red that grows in just a small part of this beaturful area. I was very pleased with what I tasted and bought a bottle to continue the tasting once back home for dinner. Prices are on the high side if you compare what you pay if you buy directly from the vineyards. The staff is nice and knowledgeable.”
