“Such an exciting adventure on this whale-watching adventure! We saw 15+ humpback whales surrounding the boat, playing and feeding, then oyster catchers and sea lions. Couldn't quite believe it when the captain Karl just stopped the boat for over half an hour so we could admire these awesome creatures.Wilma, one of the team of marine biologists on board, provided a fascinating commentary on their habits. Thanks Roman for such brilliant photographs. Such a hospitable, caring team, providing hot drinks much needed against the wind and cold. Thank you all for giving us such an outstanding experience. You're quite simply the best!”

“A nice location with a guarded beach. There are protected waters from the surf as well. The facilities have restrooms and places to grab a bite to eat. There is also a museum on fish and fisheries, though I did not go through it. Family and dog friendly and not too crowded in early September. Worth a visit if you are in the East of the Island.”
