“Absolutely worth the visit! Make sure to book a tour with a (English speaking) guide, instead of going on your own. The amount of info that is told is great. Quite the exercise and takes about 3,5-4 hours. Make sure to bring enough water. They say that you can bring your dog. We brought our wiener dog which we can carry if needed. Not sure if the steep stairs are doable for bigger dogs.”

“A great experience visiting the winery part of the cycling tour. We were taken inside the cellar and wine storage and explain on the process of this wine and how they are processed. Was a great experience ending with wine tasting in the middle of the wine yards. A must to do experience is you are in Francia corta and lago di Iseo.”

“We did a tour and tasting as part of a group. The cost was included as part of the trip, so I can’t comment on the price or value for money, so… This is a beautiful spot in an unknown, (to me at least), region of Italy. The wine doesn’t get exported to the UK which made the whole thing more interesting and fresh. Our guide was great, she was knowledgeable and passionate about the wine and the process, her English was fluent. The wine itself was really good, just a shame I was up to my baggage allowance! If you’re in this area I’d definitely recommend as you’re not going to experience the same anywhere else.”

“As all know Ca del Bosco Wines are great. Also this spot is very nice. Great garden. Great views. BUT you have to book one of their tours to get in and to get a tasting. So no single event as you might get at other spots. So they might not want your money if you do not want a tour.”

“This is an amazing experience, a must-do for any wine lovers visiting South Lake Garda. Email the owners in advance to schedule your visit. Rather than dividing the experience evenly between the tour and tasting, Silvia gave us many tastings punctuated by more technical experiences, such as visiting the vat room or viewing the original estate from the vantage point of the house’s tower. This gave the whole experience more of an organic feel, like hanging out with an old friend. The wines themselves were very good. The red is exceptional, particularly for a region focused on Lugana whites. The Luganas, naturally, are the star performers in this show. The pours were extremely generous; I suggest using a taxi service here. We had to call a halt to the proceedings prior to the two grappas which are meant to be the grand finale! The tasting room is actually a family dining room, with a baby grand piano, which guests are invited to play. Silvia provided a huge spread of hors d’ovres such as breads, cheeses, and meats, in order to display the food-pairing utility of the wines. There’s also a bed-and-breakfast experience, currently under construction. We’ll give a review of this next time, once it is ready for guests. Again, I strongly recommend this tasting experience. You will come away educated and experienced regarding the Lugana region and style. Cheers, Silvia, should you be reading this! 🥂😺”

“Such an amazing place! The service by the staff was immaculate. Need waters to your room? They’ll be knocking on your door within 20 seconds to deliver them. This was an unplanned engagement trip for me and my girlfriend. We wanted to do photos last minute and the front desk arrange a boat and photographer that took incredible photos! The lobby bar is where we did night caps every night with friends and it was very homey, especially with the Christmas decorations. The restaurant was unreal! If you’re looking for a very basic rustic Italian meal, you won’t find it here. If you’re looking for a gastronomic experience, look no further! Couldn’t have been happier to stumble upon this hotel as we come to Como ever year 12/10 reccomend!!”
