“Bo and Mike were awesome! Their knowledge of the terrain and frequent interactions with the tour was great. Our group had a great time. I would highly recommend putting this tour on your bucket list. If specific guides can be requested, I’d suggest requesting Bo and Mike. They were great!”

Hilton Vacation Club Rancho Manana Phoenix/cave Creek
4.7
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 04:00 PM

5720 E Rancho Manana Blvd, Cave Creek, AZ 85331, United States

“A very beautiful and clean resort. But we will not be back in due to a terrible night of sleep. We were in condo #1. Delivery trucks drive by the back of our condo, right by our bedrooms at four in the morning. And multiple delivery trucks. It was loud! Staff here is up early and thinks it is necessary to cruise by the condos to take your garbage out at six in the morning and then they think they should start mowing the lawn at 7 AM. It was truly a miserable night of sleep. There’s also some thing wrong with the water heater in a condo #1. There was a very loud, thumping noise that would come from it about every 15 minutes during the day and at night.”

Grand Canyon Adventures

400 S Malpais Ln, Flagstaff, AZ 86001, United States

“Absolutely the best way to see the Grand Canyon! Our tour guide, Tony, took an excellent tour and elevated it to one in a million with his knowledge of Geology and it's history. His narrative was captivating and made the drive time fly by. The tour stops at all the best places for clean restrooms, great local fare for snacks, and shopping en route to the Grand Canyon. But the hours spent at the Canyon were amazing! Tony brought a telescope and would line it up with some very impressive views invisible to the naked eye. On our own we wouldn't even know to look. He took us to all the spots that had something special and unique and had the very best views. At the end of the day we drove by the places that "the tourists go here first" and they were so clogged up with cars and crowds! We truly had a much more intimate and special view of the majesty that is the Grand Canyon. Our day was more than just sight-seeing, though, because with Tony's knowledge we not only knew what we were looking at, but how it was created and why it is the way it is. There is no question that the value of this tour far out-weighs the price. These views and the knowledge gained are priceless.”

“This is a must visit place in sedona! Amazing views in this hike, some sections are a bit inclined but it is worth the effort. Must bring good training shoes and water, sun can be Strong even in winter. The is a shuttle bus for the parking lots.”

Rainbow Bridge National Monument

( 8 reviews )

Forbidding Canyon Lake, Powell, UT 84533, United States

“What a fantastic piece of nature. I wanted to go here for a while but unfortunately the water levels in Lake Powell were too low for the tours to run and we didn't feel confident enough in our boating skills to go it alone. You can also reach it via a multi day hike but not feasible for most. But last year's heavy snow meant the water levels were favorable for boat tours to resume. It's still a little bit of a hike but doable for most (I'd rank it as moderate) The trail that goes behind the arch was closed and you can't go under it. But it is AMAZING. There was even a register to sign and our kids were super excited to sign it.”

“Nestled along the historic stretch of Route 66, just east of Kingman, Arizona, lies a treasure trove of nostalgia and Americana – the Hackberry General Store. This iconic landmark, fondly nicknamed the "Mother Lode of Mother Road Memorabilia," beckons travelers with its eclectic collection of vintage signs, quirky artifacts, and a palpable sense of Route 66 spirit. #camping #nomad #sprintervanlife #rvliving #rvlife #sprintercampervans #sprintervan #nomad #vancamping #workcation #rvnomads #rvnomad #rv #digitalnomads #digitalnomad #rtr #quartzsitearizona”

Lees Ferry Campground
4.6
( 8 reviews )

Lees Ferry Rd, Marble Canyon, AZ 86036, United States

“Absolutely beautiful location by the river and the red rock. Sites were quite close together but luckily it wasn’t crowded when we were there (week night in mid November). Very close to great hikes and 5 miles from gas station/restaurant/convenient store. Bathrooms had a creepy red light at night which was not the vibe, but they were well maintained. Would definitely come back!”
