Top 5 Travel & Tours in Virginia

King Family Vineyards
4.7
( 8 reviews )

6550 Roseland Farm, Crozet, VA 22932, United States

“We attended a wedding here and it was absolutely gorgeous! In the fall, it could not have been a more beautiful venue. The bartenders were out of this world - they always remembered our drinks! While the vineyards were open to the public at the same time our wedding was going on, there was plenty of space so that our party still felt secluded and private.”

Bluemont Vineyard
4.4
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

18755 Foggy Bottom Rd, Bluemont, VA 20135, United States

“Large outdoor seating area for parties of all sizes, gorgeous views, and great wine and snack selections. Lines for wine/food can get long when busy, but fine if you’re not in a hurry. Look forward to visiting again!”

Morais Vineyards & Winery
4.6
( 8 reviews )

11409 Marsh Rd, Bealeton, VA 22712, United States

“I photographed a wedding at Morais Vineyards this year and it was one of my favorite weddings ever. The ambiance is BEAUTIFUL. From a photographer's perspective, absolutely everything was picturesque from the reception hall, the ceremony site, to where my bride was getting ready. The staff were extremely helpful and the entire day went smoothly. One of my favorite details about the space as a wedding venue is the tradition of the bride and groom going into the wine cellar after their ceremony to have a minute alone before their reception. I had a wonderful experience and I cannot recommend Morais Vineyards enough!”

National Car Rental
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 06:00 AM

1 Richard E Byrd Terminal Dr, Richmond, VA 23250, United States

“Reviewing my most recent trip to the Denver Airport National rental. My family was headed on a vacation in the mountains and during our rental checkout we were greeted by the loveliest employee, her name was Kim. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. It was such a nice start to our trip after leaving the airport. Traveling can be stressful but this was stress free and really wonderful.”

Cross Rip Campground
4.8
( 10 reviews )

503 Cross Rip Rd, Deltaville, VA 23043, United States

“Very nice place to stay. Kind owner, territory smells pine trees, white sand beach, and many free water toys. Washroom clean and fresh. Recommended to visit. Thank you 😊”

Fredericksburg Visitor Center
4.6
( 16 reviews )

706 Caroline St, Fredericksburg, VA 22401, United States

“After a Cheer Competition in the area, we were looking to do something in the area. Going online, we found that the FVC was sponsoring a Cookie Crawl. We signed up and traveled down to pick up our map and bucket. They have a little parking lot next to them, but check if it's timed. We were on a weekend after hours. The staff was extremely helpful. They had a little table in the back set up to get you going. They also had free hot chocolate. The center had a lot of information of the area. They also had all kinds of little knickknacks. Who doesn't want a George Washington Bobble-Head! Tee shirts and other things. If you are planning on checking Fredericksburg out, this is a good place to start.”

John H. Kerr Dam And Reservoir
4.7
( 8 reviews )

1930 Mays Chapel Rd, Boydton, VA 23917, United States

“Not sure what I'm rating. It's a Dam. A pretty good size one as well. They do have multiple parking lots, grills and picnic spaces near it and the visitor center is free and very interesting”

Alexandria Colonial Tours Ltd
4.7
( 16 reviews )

201 King St # 3, Alexandria, VA 22314, United States

“Strongest possible recommendation for Alexandria Colonial Tours ghost tour with extraordinary guide Jimmy. The charm of Old Town on one of the first good crispy Fall evenings can’t be overstated, but Jimmy’s perfect control of his craft drew us into a spooky pocket dimension. I got chills in the first five minutes. Jimmy makes it a whole multimedia experience too! Jimmy is also an expert historian. His love of learning all about the rich past in the area comes out in his elaborately ornamented tales. Plus this dude knows how to get your skin crawling. My kid was trying to wear me as a security blankie by the end, and I wasn’t trying too hard to get away from him bc I was pretty spooked out too. Jimmy was so kind and generous with all the guests, building a fun rapport with other less petrified kids throughout the tour, they were giving him high fives in the middle of his talk. The adults on dates were talking about how scared they were while we were walking from spooky spot to spot. The ending in the dark grave yard was totally creepy too. And then he let us take turns holding the lantern! What a great sport. You guys should not miss this one. Once in a lifetime entertainment for real, but we will be back soon to do the North route with Jimmy to hear about the headless ghost over there!”

Capitol River Cruises
4.4
( 8 reviews )

3050 Water St NW, Washington, DC 20007, United States

“Great time on this tour. It was my friends birthday and was looking for a unique way to celebrate it so capital river cruises were my choice. You get to see so much on this tour, and there were so many things I never saw before, including the navy merchant marine memorial. The tour is in walking distance on a mall, the Kennedy Center, and downtown Georgetown.”

Omniride/omnilink
3.8
( 8 reviews )
Open until 08:30 PM

14700 Potomac Mills Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22192, United States

“If you're looking for unreliable service, hostile customer support, and a transportation agency that doesn't care about the well being of their clientele then Omniride is the agency for you. Omniride, if they run so few buses that it's standing room only on the way home that's what they call 'safe'. The one good thing? If you hit a car in their parking lot they will be inordinately reticent to provide your information to the person you hit so if they have any kind of busy schedule you'll get off Scott free.”
