Top 5 Travel & Tours in New Hampshire

White Mountains Visitor Center
4.7
( 16 reviews )

200 NH-112, North Woodstock, NH 03262, United States

“Good first stop when driving the Kanc, or heading in to do some hiking. Also lots of info, pamphlets and maps for surrounding destinations. If you are doing a specific hike for the first time ask a ranger, they’ll have some info on how hard and how long you should expect it to take. Right off the highway exit, basically across the street. Good to get a map, or ask questions here as you won’t have much of any cell phone reception once you pass Lincoln Woods.”

Transportation Center, 13 Labombard Rd, Lebanon, NH 03766, United States

“We love this bus line!! Use it often from Boston to Lebanon and each time it’s been a pleasure. They are very accommodating so if your Tix has a different time listed you can still take the bus earlier/later should there be room. There has ALWAYS been room. It makes our traveling so very easy. They offer water and even a movie for the trip. When we travel we always plan on arriving in Boston because of this bus line as there is not easy way to get to our home destination but they make it as easy as possible. Thank you so much!!!”

Lake Winnipesaukee
4.7
( 8 reviews )

New Hampshire, USA

“Huge NH lake that is outstanding for boating and tons of other activities at docks and such around the lake. Beautiful lake and very scenic. While I enjoy it, I personally would opt for a smaller lake with less traffic. Tons of people and boats. 90% of shoreline is developed. Winnipesaukee is really accessible with tons of campgrounds and hotels with a lot to do which make it a good option. I like it, but would just prefer a smaller lake with less people and traffic.”

Isles Of Shoals Steamship Company

315 Market St, Portsmouth, NH 03801, United States

“We had a fantastic time touring Star Island! The ferry was clean and efficient, with a variety of drinks and snacks to choose from. Our tour guide Peggy was very knowledgeable, and gave us interesting information while on the boat, and on the island. Star Island is a beautiful place, and now I’m inspired to come back someday to stay at the Oceanic Hotel. This trip is not just for tourists! I’d recommend locals go too! There is so much interesting history to learn, and things to see! The one thing I wish is that we had more time on the island! It’s an hour ride out, an hour to site see, then an hour back to Portsmouth.”

Pine Knoll Rd, Albany, NH 03818, United States

“AMAZING experience here. A true “glamping” experience - they provided everything we could need, including dishes, utensils, a grill, and plenty of towels and blankets. They are extremely pet friendly too - my dog was welcome almost everywhere on the campsite. The camp store is great, but what really stood out to me was the customer service - everyone at the front desk were some of the nicest people I’ve met and so helpful. I will absolutely be coming back here!”
