“What a great experience and can’t believe that it’s free! Although the tour is in Japanese, they provide audio guide in multiple languages, so, no worry! Prior reservation is required and should be done somewhat in advance as it is full very fast. It is nice to see overall of beer production, and get to test variations of their specialty beer at the end of the tour. It’s a worthwhile mini tour from Kyoto city. They do provide free shuttle from train station as well. Recommend!”

“Used for bike solo camping. If you brought your own tent for one person, the total cost was 2200 yen. There seems to be a lot of sections, but since I stayed there on May 1st, there were only two or three other groups, so I was able to use it comfortably. A river flows right next to it, and it seems like it will be crowded in the summer. There are quite a few trees growing there, and it looks like you could use a hammock. However, there is a note at the reception desk telling you to protect it properly when using it. We sell firewood from coniferous and hardwood trees at the reception, but if you don't mind, there are plenty of branches lying around, so you can use that to light a bonfire.”
