“We had a fabulous time out on the water and saw lots of dolphins. The atmosphere was relaxed. The guides were informative and friendly, and their passion drip from them. We arrived just in time for the last boat of the day, and they were very welcoming. The island stop was a bonus, and I even got to hold a sea sponge, which tickled my hand. The only thing to watch out for is the marina parking. We got stung with 25 dollar citations for reverse parking. But this is nothing to do with the company, just something to be aware of. Thank you for an amazing adventure. You guys were fantastic.”

“December, 2023 ~ We really enjoyed our stay at Gulfport Municipal Marina. This is our 2nd stay at GMM. The staff was helpful. Thanks TEZ for all your help! GMM is located close to a great town with many shops, restaurants, pubs, and a beach. There are many events in town to enjoy. It is also very close to the Pinella’s Bike/Hike Trail, just a short bike ride to downtown St. Pete. Suggestions: Our first stay, we were lucky enough to stay on the floating dock which is within the marina’s gated area. This time we stayed at a long finger dock, which was gated, but the gate was at the end. We had to leave the fenced-in area every time we left the dock. Now this may not seem like an issue, however, we only had one fob. This means: -we always had to have the fob with us to go anywhere (bathroom, shower, laundry, office, etc.) -you needed the fob to get out! This was ridiculous. We both had to be together to let each other in/out of the dock or bathroom area. VERY frustrating. -the gates are on too tight of a spring, closing on your back if you are trying to get something off the dock. -when we left, we had to walk our fob back, then a staff member had to walk us back to open the gate for us to walk on our dock - you need a drop off box -we did not like the fact that we had to “leave” the marina to go to the bathroom, etc. The fence needs to be a couple feet further so ALL docks are within the gated area Now, all this does not mean we will not stay again. We really LIKE GMM! We plan to come again. It is a safe and clean marina. Unfortunately the best dock (the floating one which is close to office area and within fenced area) is used for bigger boats (ours is a 36) Hopefully these suggestions will be considered and modified in the future. “Great experience overall. Took the SunRunner down from the beaches (drops off a few blocks away). Pre bought tickets and added to my Apple Wallet for quick access (nice feature) but you can buy tickets day off at the booth. Wouldn’t recommend though as there’s limited availability. We took the Ferry over for a Lightning Game on a Monday (limited runs on some days just for the games). Drinks on board were $9 for most beers and $16 for liquor doubles. Not terrible, but surprising. Had a few snack like items to purchase on the boat too. Lots of seating options. We got on quick so we could have a little table by the window. Outdoor seating as well towards the top/back of boat. Careful sitting up there before take off though as the exhaust was super heavy to breath in. Couple bathrooms on board were well cleaned and maintained. Staff was super nice and all come down for the season w the boat. Chatted w a few of the crew. Views were stunning. Took in a great sunset view while crossing over on the 4:45pm St Pete>Tampa.”
