“Recently visited the restaurant on a spontaneous whim and was delighted with the experience. Have eaten takeaway from here a few years back and honestly forgot about this place. We spent about £30/head with 1 alcoholic drink. The restaurant was warm and welcoming with attentive and friendly waiting staff. The food was delicious enjoying a hot mix meze for starters and and various dishes for mains, See photos. All cooked beautifully however some dishes very rich! We all left with satisfied bellies. Would recommend and visit again.”

“Absolutely loved it!!! Last night was my father's 60th birthday and we needed a restaurant to go to and my dad had its heart set here. They were Absolutely amazing with a big party of 25 (which they don't usually take). The customer service was amazing and they were so helpful towards my grandmother. Our main server was a lovely lady called 'Mel' and she was so helpful and explained things on the menu. They brought out a birthday cake with my dad and sang. It was everything he wanted. I would definitely go back and would recommend.”

“Firstly, I loved the idea that it’s a Mediterranean style restaurant cause I’m of the opinion that Mediterranean dishes are generous with flavours and spices. However, I didn’t get the kick I had anticipated with the honey garlic chicken wings. It was really bland and I couldn’t taste any flavour nor honey in it. I had a main course called Adana which is minced lamb in skewer. It was really tasty howbeit a little too salty. The side I enjoyed most was the bulgur! The bulgur was just perfect! Secondly, the atmosphere was great and really very busy, it’s not really a relaxing space tho, so you get the full busy city restaurant vibe which I guess it’s okay pending your preference. Thirdly, the service was really great. The person who waited on my section was really observant and hands on. I wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out but she really did a great job. Overall, it was a good experience hence my 4 star review 😊.”

“First time Dining here we set up a secret meal to celebrate our mums 53rd birthday here the place was spectacular very spacious great decor inside rustic feel with very nice touches wine racks and great detailed sealings and wall art and outside small touches like what can only be described as glitter in the bricks so as the cars pull out of the car park they sparkle a spacious smoking area also. We ordered a mixed range of starters from octopus to prawns to goats cheese and calamari the thing that stood out to me the most was the prawns in tomato based sauce great flaivour in the prawns but also in the sauce big big compliments to the chef I know it's a basic thing but once this is done properly and right ingredients come together it's spectacular. Moving on to the mains for me I always order Lamb as this is my way of telling a great restaurant from a exceptional restaurant again did not disappoint the lamb was fresh well seasoned and juicy great shish and lamb chop but star of the meal for me was the kofta such great taste of fresh lamb little bit of char colour and herbs in the mix was OUTSTANDING can't praise the quality of the lamb enough welldone to the chef and owner for selecting such great meat The others also had mixed grill and creamy chicken I tryed the creamy chicken tasted great presentation was very unique and even down to the mushrooms the earthy fresh flaivour was mouth watering . Was time for desert we was quite full but we ordered anyways to share apple pie and creme brulee Great flaivour in the apple pie with big chuncks of apple inside nice aromatic spices used inside For me creme brulee was the one it's such a simple desert but once you have a really nice one you will always compare to the mediocre ones . In conclusion great first experience set the bar high and will definitely come back again Superb atmosphere and ambiance with very professional and friendly staff . A place for me to say to everyone please try it and support a great establishment that is well put together along with superb food you will not be disappointed in coming here . Once again big thanks to the chef for the exceptional food and thankyou to the owner for selecting such great meat”

“We had a variety of dishes from the lunchtime offer (extended till late into the afternoon) and was not disappointed! From grilled fish to the lamb shank and kofta everything was spot on ! I visited the lark lane branch last in 2016 and glad the standards have kept up while keeping the prices competitive ! Only gripe was one the waiters (short guy with distinctively short tie) was quite rude as I’d told him we were waiting for parties in the bathroom, so didn’t want to order just yet. Then just ignored us all afternoon like we’d insulted him and had to call for another waiter, yet was happy chappy around other tables!”

The tapas was delicious with some proprietary dishes. The squid was some of the best I've ever eaten (calamari - not at all chewy, melt in the mouth yumminess). The baklava, as recommended by our waiter, was to die for. The cakes in the cupboard looked amazing. I had the Belgian fudge cake and it was as good as it looked. The decor was great, with some.nice art on sale... even the toilets were well presented and the hand driers effective. 10/10!!!”

“It was our first time in this cafe. Service was great, however I noticed some members of stuff sounded like we bothered them by asking the question. Nevertheless stuff was polite and friendly. We were asked if our food was all right throughout our stay and if we needed anything else. I ordered chicken wraps and egg Florentine. My egg Florentine was a bit blunt. Also I found some crunchy bits inside, which therefore put me from finishing the rest. Chicken wraps were absolutely beautiful. “They served lamb shank that had clearly gone bad. I told them about it and did not eat it. The manager kept arguing that it was perfectly cooked and Turkish delight. They did not even bother asking me to not pay although I did not eat anything. So I paid the full amount for tasting the meat that had gone bad. Please do not go here to waste your money and be treated badly.”

“We absolutely love coming to Fes Mangal. The best Turkish restaurant we have visited and love visiting. We would travel 1 hour all the time to have the good food. We usually order the family platter which is enough for 4 or 5 people. I will note that, we have been coming here for a long time and the platter portions have gotten smaller since before. “My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of amazing maybe because I was out there for a date but the customer service was top notch and staff were so friendly. As we got in we had a bottle of wine ( Pinot Grigio) which tasted so good. Then the meal came in we had chicken and lamb platter with rice. The meal was so much that I had to take some of the platter home. The Flavors were bussing if I am allowed to use that particular word😂😂. The ambience was so cool and the atmosphere was giving privacy. Loved every bit of it especially the food. You can come here for a family dinner or a private dinner with your partner and you won’t be disappointed. The menu was affordable in my opinion at least if sharing each person could pay less than 30 pounds. I would be visiting this restaurant again when next I’m in Manchester. It’s a thumbs up from me.”
