“Definitely the best place to eat if you’re in this part of the city. The food is amazing, really good quality and nicely balanced. The staff’s politeness and on point service is the best I’ve experienced in Istanbul. Since it’s a family run restaurant, you really see and feel how they are trying around every guest. I came a few times during my stay and each time they also give you some appetizers on the house to try. P.S. it’s on the first floor (you have to take some 5/6 steps on the side to access their terrace) so don’t mistake them for the restaurant on the ground floor!”

“We were seated at a the roof terrace. Loved the ambience. The restaurant is located in a historical building which houses a hammam (Turkish bath) with a courtyard. The layout of the whole place is interesting. The food was amazing and service was good. The price was reasonable for the food, but I found the drinks were a bit on the high side. Overall a great experience!”

“Ordered the half chicken and half lamb shish as recommended. It was really tasty, juicy and the salsa binds it all together. It comes with bread and some salad too. Only let down was the price transparency. One of the wait staff told us the half and half option was 170 lira each but we were charged 200 lira each (maybe the bread and salad cost extra?) Not a huge difference anyways and still a delicious meal but something to be aware of. Staff were friendly otherwise and would come again.”

“A local establishment, friendly staff unfortunately took too long to give certain items and was food was quite bland. Priced reasonably considering the district, pilav rice is 40 TL which was delicious. Lachmacun was nice, but the chicken dish needed spice. Took too long to bring sauces, asked for tea over 4x, asked for chips over 3x and it was brought when meal was almost over. It wasn’t as busy also. Would have been better to takeaway. Please bare in mind, turkish food is NOT spicy at all. You’ll need lots of pulbi ber and sauce to make it flavoursome.”

“This is absolute the WORST restaurant I’ve ever been in Istanbul. Fish is no fresh at all. Service is awful. Windows are broken, seats cuisines are disgustingly dirty. The table and seats are in such awful height proportions....And they basically have no knife that works for steak.... anyways, don’t torture yourself to even order meat. View is ok. But if you’re looking for food, don’t even suffer here.”
