“EDIT/UPDATE "The dude with the beard was very helpful" I only popped in on the off chance they'd have a movie in that if been looking for for ages, and wadyaknow, they had it in stock, bonus. There were plenty of staff in the shop & it's exceptionally well stocked too with everything from DVDs to drones. Full marks indeed. Upon my second visit in September, I popped by just for a nosey & found a HD card I'd needed for quite some time. The only strange thing regarding CeX is the staff are not allowed to give out their names, as I'd asked him for it so I could mention him in my review. I'm afraid "dude with a beard" is the best I can offer.”

On both occasions I received my orders within 2 days. The cardboard packaging they use is fantastic. Does a great job of keeping everything in place and making sure there is little to no movement. He explained the options and the financial pitfalls of certain options that involved getting other components to make wireless controllers operate. I very much like the buy sell philosophy and the 2 year guarantees given with electrical equipment. Phones, tablets, laptops and associated peripherals. Of course, then there are all the games etc. Would recommend this branch and has 4 hour parking just outside and past the bus station 🚉.”

“I will never be back here ever again I came in with my service dog a member of staff decided to interrupt my service dog during my shopping experience without permission or even asking for permission I played along nicely and showed him a few things she can do but I was very uncomfortable the fact that he came running over to touch my dog when she is in her badges and do not believe that these people get the training necessary to understand not to touch the animal without consent. I have tried to contact the store in numerous different ways unsuccessfully to try and range a later pick up time with no luck I then get to the counter and ask for the game that I had already purchased I then get them the confirmation code he then asked for ID which I did not have on me I explained the fact that I am just driven 40 miles for this game and said that I have other forms of identification such as online banking He then States at a bank statement would be good enough so I go to get one on my phone and tells me now I've got to go to one in branch on a sunday as he smiles knowing that they are all shot i have spent alot in cex but that will stop because of this shop as i do not tolerate how they have dealt with this situation and how their staff are completely unaware of what to do when a service dog it is in the store I do not appreciate being taken the Mick out of And I made that very clear when I was in by telling him what he should do Im so angry and anoyed how thay just took the mick and made it inpossible what is the point in having a security code I give them if they will not take it and when they asked me to prove who I am they can literally see me log into my bank and see my statement So technically they've stole my item off me because they refuse to give me the item I have purchased when they have proof of who I am such as the correct email the correct details proof of purchase on email and bank statement And I don't have my money back or my game I might have to take this further with the police if I do not receive my items as I will not have things stolen from me such as money or game”
