“Great bookstore in downtown Chicago. Quaint, great smell (that bookstore smell, if you know what I mean) hardwood floors that creak in spots, giving it character and charm. A great selection of books, anything we could think of was there. I ended up with a number of books and a great afternoon experience with my daughter. They also had banned books! Lol. I thought that was great. There was a children's area as well and the staff was super knowledgeable and friendly the three times I spoke with them.”

“Great selection of vintage, recycled, and new clothes. Everything is very well organized, and they had an awesome selection of Halloween themed clothes and a large stash of winter holiday sweaters, as well as dance/club wear. But my favorite was the rack of "sea captain" sweaters. Very reasonable prices, and some great sale deals. Definitely worth a visit if you like thrifted clothes and unique trendy 90s look fashion!”

“I wish I could give 0 stars. The workers here are racist. My first visit here was years ago, when they first opened. They were so mean towards my grandmother and I. I proceeded to let the manager know and they didn’t care at all. So I decided to give it another try many years later and they are the same way. They tolerate African Americans because they have too. We all are not the same. Will not return.”
