“Dunes Harbor is an amazing campground! We are definitely coming back next year. All of the grounds are very nice and well maintained. Lush grass areas and flowers throughout. The store and ice cream shop are great also. The pool area is nice and clean. The playground is also nice. The lots around the outside (where we stayed) are vey scenic. This is a very familiar oriented campground with reasonable rules to make it enjoyable for all ages. Highly recommended.”

“It was definitely the best family vacation in many years. We found everything we were looking for and more, for 15 days I saw my son be away from the computer and phone, asking from morning to night to go to the lake, pool or ride the train, not even the beach was in his plans. New friends that he still has and enjoy bike rides. The only unfortunate thing is that due to OVR policy, we cannot bring our pet, since our cabin is rented, and dogs are not accepted. It would be wonderful if they installed new policies regarding that just like other campsites in the area have, which charge a little more, but allow dogs that are also an important part of the family.”

“Bay Village is a pretty cool shopping area on the island. Has a very rustic feel to the exterior. Lots of different stores from candy and toy stores. Absolutely Loved the book store and collectable place. There are outside stands with trinkets and things. Right across the street the water park is located as well as mini golf. Ship Bottom brewery also makes it home here and has delicious beers. Could spend so much of the day here and leave happy. Some clothing stores and places to eat. Not to mention the best pizza on the island. Highly recommend stopping by Bay Village!!!!”

“We were looking at booking a few days here. Looks amazing, and sites look to be in good shape. Went on line and put in the dates we want, no issues. The issue to me is to actually pick the site you want they require an extra $30 Lock Fee! I emailed them asking to explain this Lock fee which they did respond. I asked then if the site I want is available on the dates I entered they why should I pay a Lock fee as well. To me it is a Nicole and dime game to the customer. The reply from the campground was you don't have to pay the Lock fee, but you are not guaranteed that spot just one simular. Sorry not paying around $60 per night with no say so in the site. Did let them know I will be looking else where to stay. Just be aware if you want a specific site it will cost you more.”
