“Best vegan restaurant we've been in a long time! Everything was absolutely delicious! We tried the tasting menu to try a bit of everything and it was great! My favourite was the crispy fried chik'n, I want the recipe!!! We had it with the 'good intentions' wine and the blend of flavours was just perfect! Finishing it off with sticky date pudding was amazing! The vibe was cozy and the service good too! We would 100% come back! Well done!”

“Having known about this restaurant since I was a child, it was a lovely treat to bring my family here for our end of year celebrations. From the outside it would be easy to miss this local gem, nestled in with the suburban landscape on the hills of Terrigal. We were pleasantly surprised with the sophisticated interiors and absolutely blown away with the coastal views. We chose the 3 course menu and every single dish was uniquely delicious, with generous servings that left everyone content. The kids menu was very generous and my daughter loved the high quality food. The service was great from our main waitress, however slightly inconsistent from the others. Overall I would highly recommend The Cowrie as the Summer menu was light, refreshing and was easily the best restaurant we have visited in years in terms of views, taste and consistency. Thank you for making our lunch so memorable.”

Second visit: The lemon grass beef noodle soup is a delightful option as well. I highly recommend it if you are in the mood for a satisfying soup.”

The music is not too loud, very friendly stuff and the food is just so tasty and filling!! ♥️ This place is a good spot for those who are vegan and vegetarian. One of our servers, Claudia, was very politely and always smiling. We love it!”

“It took us 45 minutes to drive to this place - and it was well worth the trip! The place was easy to find and there are lots of available parking in the area. Staff were very friendly and the service is excellent. The food was delicious, served hot and the prices are fair. I would recommend getting a seat at the balcony as it was a comfortable place to have lunch at. Highly recommended for anyone to try and we will definitely be coming back.”

“I had the best pasta and pizza experience at Mamma’s today. I ordered the fettuccini boscaiola with chicken mushroom and king prawns. The dish was cooked to perfection and the presentation was amazing. I had the pepperoni pizza, from the crust to the flavours of the pepperoni it was the perfect pizza. The staff and the owner are very nice and friendly . I would recommend Mamma’s to all and would say that this is the best place for pizza and pasta in the Shoalhaven. 👍🏼🍕🍝 😊”
