“Amazing vegan food! My husband and I came here for New Year’s Eve weekend. We enjoyed a delicious lunch platter. The food tasted fresh and was colorful. I used to live in Crown Heights off Franklin Ave and it was SO fun to come back to the area to see Ras there. I’ve been vegan for a long time and it’s wonderful to have more vegan options in Brooklyn. The decor of the restaurant was awesome and color. I also loved all of the hanging plants! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. 10/10 recommend! 🔥💖”

“Loved the food! Had cheese and crab Rangoons, which were fabulous, completely loved. Some fried thing what had chicken and potato filling which was pretty below average. Tom Yum soup with shrimp was a blast of flavours, loved! The drunken noodles very also one of the best I have had and prik king was also great! So great variety, loved the options they have. Personally felt they could do better in the dessert department”

“Cool Place! Nicely decorated with full bar. I really liked the chill, modern vibe. Food was good, nice sized portions. A little pricey but fresh so didn’t mind. For 2 orders of Tacos (come in 3’s), Mexican pizza, side if rice, soda & one drink was $85 with a tip. Would go back!”

“Love how they decorate the restaurant. Great service. Food was really good but the portion was too small compare to the price. Pad Thai here is spicy which is what we did not expect but it is alright. The fried icecream was ok.”

“Hamburger was great. Roasted potatoes were good, but a little greasy for us. Crispy fish tacos were very good, but would have preferred the fish grilled.”

Rosemary's East

( 8 reviews ) $$

350 1st Ave., New York, NY 10010, United States

“My recent experience at Rosemary's East in New York was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we stepped in, the excellent customer service stood out. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make our dining experience special. The atmosphere at Rosemary's East is perfect for a relaxing dinner. The cozy ambiance, dim lighting, and tasteful decor create a welcoming environment that's conducive to enjoyable conversations. What truly impressed me was their commitment to catering to diverse dietary preferences. We had a vegan friend with us, and they were overjoyed to find a variety of delectable vegan options on the menu. The dishes not only looked appealing but also tasted fantastic, proving that Rosemary's East takes its vegan offerings seriously. Overall, I highly recommend Rosemary's East for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. The excellent customer service, inviting ambiance, and thoughtfully crafted vegan options make it a top choice for a satisfying meal in New York City. We left with smiles on our faces and plans to return soon.”

“Came here last week with a few friends and loved it! I'd say it was an excellent experience and there were some entrees that I loved much more than others - the beet/radish starter, the truffle dish, cabbage, and the miso soup were some of my favorites. The orange jelly was super refreshing and the perfect palate cleanser to end the meal. I loved the ambience of the restaurant - calm, quiet, peaceful. The presentation was perfect and the aesthetics on point.”

“We were so lucky to find this place : in Harlem there are not that many fast casual high quality sit down restaurants with amazing ambiance and fantastic food: we had the Seafood Gumbo and Crab Pockets , veggie bowl, roast chicken bowl and side veggies ; all were excellent great prices and really a fantastic fun place w great speakers and a fun playlist.”

“I’m usually extra event with vegan places but unfortunately our experience was not a pleasant one last night. The food left much to be desired (we ordered two appetizers, three mains and a dessert) and we felt very rushed (there was still an hour to closing and we were the only other table). The cannoli was absolutely horrible (looks better than is) but it didn’t matter too much as the server kept asking if we were done and took away the plates despite not having finished…”

“Clean. Neat. Full bar. Plentiful menu with lots of good options from appetizers, soups, salads, burgers and many entrées. Many local wines in stock as well as a voluminous selection of craft beers, with 13 on tap the day we were there. We were greeted, promptly seated and our server gave us ample time (no, not slow service!) to review the menu and beverage selections. Our meals came quickly and we were able to dine comfortably without feeling hurried. Good food, served well and fairly priced.”

“Love this place ! Will come definitely back The server was completely helpful and detailed. She clearly explained every details about what we were getting on the table with out trying to hard sales us . The host were super nice and elegantly served us . We went there on Christmas Eve and thankfully with a reservation . It was giving the peacefulness and calmness during our supper. The food was extremely savoury and unmatched . My favourite meal of the day was Lobster Omelet and the white fish with green dressing . Tuna tartar was not disappointed at all . Cocktails were great we almost ended up trying them all . Ps. you can ask the bar to get your favourite as per usual”

Zinnia's Dinette

“My friends and I came to Hillsdale for a skiing weekend and Zinnia’s Dinette was easily the best meal we had! Everyone was super friendly and the quality of the meal blew us away. I ordered the pandan milkshake and fish and chips. The pandan milkshake was shockingly delicious and I highly recommend it, but the fish and chips were also a star. I loved how the batter included kettle chips and the fish was tender and juicy throughout. Definitely would recommend a meal here if you’re in the area.”

Allentown Pizza

“Very happy to see vegan options, as we are always looking for a break from having to make everything ourselves. But the quality is a huge issue. Sadly, we will not be patronizing Allentown pizza again. Ordered two pizzas and both were disappointing. The cheese and pepperoni was laughable. It was maybe a 1/8 cup of cheese over a whole pie, and they even skimped on sauce. That said, the garlic knots were delicious.”

“Owner was very rude. Service was terrible. Owner kept telling me and my family how to eat our food. Wouldn’t let us add more chili oil to our ramen. Owner put utensil in my bowl for me. I felt as i was being disciplined on how to eat, i was offered utensils and told i couldn’t have a spoon AND chopsticks.”
