“This is our favorite restaurant in Harrisburg. We come here at least once a month and we are a family of 3. We get the 2 Thai iced tea, Tom Yum soup, an appetizer, 3 entrees, and sometimes dessert. We spend more than $100 and look forward to this place. I always get Penang chicken. This is best Penang I've tasted since I moved from Alexandria, VA at Rabieng restaurant in Falls Church, VA. It does have a lot of oil, but chicken was so good and not dry like at other restaurants. I had enough to take home and eat a huge lunch for the next day. My husband liked his ground chicken dish. Forgot the name. The pad Thai was ok. It didn't seem like a very large portion though. We used to go to the Thai restaurant in Hershey, Sawsadee, but we'll come here from now on. My mouth is just watering looking at my photos, dang...”

“Just visited this lovely restaurant for the first time today and was so pleased with our meal! We had started with a vegetable appetizer then had Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala with Onion Naan. Everything was amazing! The staff was friendly, the food arrived quickly and was presented beautifully in pretty copper serving bowls. We started with a vegetable appetizer platter, and then had Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala with a side on Onion Naan. The food was outstanding. I will definitely be returning again and again. I also should mention they have terrific vegetarian and vegan options as well. Don’t hesitate to visit this terrific restaurant!!”

“This was our first visit here and it sure was a treat to find this place! The staff was very friendly and accommodating...Shout out to the hostess Bella, not only was she gracious and informative about the restaurant, but said it would be a 10 minute wait and she was spot on! As we walked in, the aroma of an Italian kitchen had us set on getting a couple of pizzas! We ordered the Chicken, Bacon and Broccoli Ranch Pie...which was over the top fantastic and also a vegan style pizza called Humble Pie. Wasn't sure how that second one was going to taste but let me tell you it was out of this world! The unique style of a square pizza gave us a crispy crust on all sides and it was just delicious!! Can't wait to visit again, as their menu is packed with all kinds of yummy items! I can see why Iron Born Pizza has won so many awards!! Kudos to the chef and they're wonderful staff!! You have to give this restaurant a try, it won't disappoint!!”

“What a yummy visit. And my hubby enjoyed it too. Indian Garden is in a local shopping center anchored by a grocery store so has easy access and a convenient parking lot. They provide daily buffet lunches although they are closed on Mondays. We ordered from the lengthy menu. I picked a shrimp dish and my hub chose chicken. My plate came out sizzling hot with shrimp piled on slivered vegetables and a side plate filled with sauce. My hubs was in a giant pile on his plate. . You can order your food mild medium or hot. A large plate of white rice came with our meals. We also ordered an onion and cheese Kulcha and a plain Nan Everything was very good. There was enough food leftover for a second meal for each of us. Service was excellent, friendly and relaxed, and the dining room very comfortable. Price reasonable. Oh and as an after dinner treat we were served a small sweet finisher.”

“Here is the quick summary for the review scanners if you want genuine polish food this is the place to go. For the people who like the details here is the story. You know an ethnic place is going to be good when it's ran by women who are speaking the language when you walk in. The service was excellent, it felt like you were being served by a family member. They serve everything is packages and you pay at the register so you can drop in for take out or take advantage of the tables they have and eat there but either way when your ready to go it's a get up and go type of thing. In regards to beverages they have a standing fridge full of coke products in plastic bottles for you to select from. They have many different platters for you to select from or if you like you can order individual items à la carte. They also have deserts which we took advantage of and they are very generous when it comes to portion sizes. My family had everything the offered to try them all and all were excellent however you are likely reading this because you saw Pierogie in the name of this place and I am pleased to say no matter which type of pierogi you get you are going to be very pleased. The pierogi's were soft and delicate and the filling was exquisite in taste and texture. Final bonus is they have everything available frozen if you would like to take some for home and warm up on your schedule. Handy for folks who drove some distance to try this place and want to have some later when it's convenient for them.”

“Ordered one Malai kofta and one Baingan bharta (both medium spicy) for takeout dinner on 7/21. The malai kofta was good, but they gave us some mixed veg curry instead of the Baingan bharta. The mix veg was not very flavorful and very very spicy - just not edible for us. Unfortunately it was too late to call the restaurant to get the order fixed.”

“Do Not Miss !! Xi'an style cuisine is uncommon in American Chinese food menus, but after eating here I am officially cheerleading Xi'an food in Philly. The "Pita bread soaked in lamb and beef soup" (牛肉泡馍） and "BBQ lamb skewers with cumin flavor" (羊肉串） were so fresh and good. There were pickled garlic cloves as garnishes for our soups, incredible. Also had a sour tofu dish handwritten on the menu that was wonderful. I had a great experience dining in as well, it was very comfortable. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.”

“Great tasty Indian food! Didn't realize there was this great place so close to the Navy Yard. My friend and I both had the combo meals which came with Samosa, entree, naan, rice, and a drink. I had the lamb saag and he had the chicken masala. We were able to customize the spice on each and it tasted great! I don't eat Indian food that much but from someone that doesn't eat it that often, this was a great place for lunch. Overall, if you are craving Indian food near Navy Yard this is the place to go and grab lunch. Worth the short trip.”
