We came twice, and the first time we could discuss over a cup of coffee during hours without being harassed by the waiters, which is rare enough in Hamburg to be highlighted. Be aware that it's quite packed during weekends!”

“Best Indian Restaurant in Hamburg. Extremely tasty and yet affordable dishes. The starter platter for 2 or 4 are highly recommended, so is the mulligatawny soup. All classic Indian dishes can be ordered mild, medium and spicy, where spicy is still quite easy compared to UK Indian food. Tables can be reserved online and parking is possible in front of the restaurant after 6 pm, although spaces are limited.”

“If you want a cool place to sit and talk near the movie theater, this is great! Skip the burger and the fries—the quality of the meat is terrible, it’s so overcooked that it’s chewy and dry, and it’s covered up by an unholy amount of sauce (maybe to hide the poor quality). The fries we got were sadly very dry and not crispy, but not oily either? It was strange, it tasted like they’d reheated old fries and the cheese sauce we ordered with it had split and was cold. Service is slow but the people are very nice. We wouldn’t ever come here again for food but maybe for a beer before a movie or something.”

Just one person was working at the place though, he handled both the food and the money with his hands without using gloves or washing his hands and the place felt dirty. This is sadly not a good representation of how Hesburger actually is in Finland.”
