“We attended the Noel Christmas program Saturday night. The program was absolutely wonderful and beautiful. And not what wee were expecting to see. The event center probably hosts a lot of livestock/animal type events. As we entered and waited on the dinner part of the event to begin, the aroma of barn dung hung heavily in the air. Wow. We wondered what we had gotten ourselves into. But if Mary could give birth in a barn and Jesus could lay in the castles manger, we could handle the smell for a couple hours. But when we sat down the the dinner being served by the Amish women of the area, there was no offensive barn odor. We enjoyed -thourougly enjoyed - the dinner and the Christmas show presented that evening. It was such a an enjoyable event, we are looking forward to next Year Christmas celebration program.”

“Had a event here for work. The facility itself was clean and looked nice. Breakfast was served and was pretty. Would have loved to have seen coffee karafs on the tables for attendees to have been able to easily refill their cups without having to disrupt the flow of the meeting by having to get up and walk to the back of the room for a refill. The PA system also had issues with feedback that the facility staff lacked knowledge to correct.”

“I visited this restaurant located in a historical house, and the ambiance was pretty impressive. The building had a lot of character and historical charm. However, I found it a bit unfortunate that the quality of the food didn't quite measure up to the beauty of the mansion. While the atmosphere was great, the dining experience was somewhat underwhelming, and I expected the food to be more comparable to the grand setting. Overall, a decent place with a unique ambiance, but improvements could be made for the food.”

“We had our wedding here in July and I hate to leave a bad review, but the experience we had with Cindy was awful. It so sad because the food, drinks, and River Room were amazing. Cindy caused so much stress before and during our wedding. Here are just a few of the MANY issues: 1. Constantly saying she would accommodate something we wanted and then changing it later on and telling us she "couldn't do that". She is VERY unorganized. 2. Trying to overcharge us for items that were suppose to be included and then asking for money the night of the wedding after we signed and paid the final deposit! 3. We scheduled multiple meetings with her and she wouldn't be there and didn't answer her phone! She also did this with my florist and cake designer the day of the wedding!! If you still want to book here, I would suggest writing everything down to document and do not let her take advantage of you!”
