“We are not from the area, so we called to see if we needed reservations, and Liz was so friendly on the phone. She put us on the list for a table and said they'd be ready for us in 15mins. (I would call to ahead, especially during dinner hour on a Friday night.) When we arrived, Liz sat us immediately. She was also our waitress, and she has a friendly personality and great service skills! On their tables, they do have a sign that ask guests to be patient because they make everything to order, so it does take longer to get food. Drinks came out fairly quick, however. The food was definitely worth the wait! So delicious! I recommend the Chicken and Bacon Fettuccine for dinner, and their chocolate cake for dessert! As my 8 year old son put it, "We need to come back again and again!"”

Anyone who walks in the door will immediately realize how special the main room is. What sets this venue above so many others though, is the attention to detail by the staff, which includes food & beverage. Absolutely top-tier. And to have so much space, all of which is beautiful, out of the Seattle weather, is also very hard to come by. 10/10 would recommend.”

“This lodge about 2 1/2 hours outside of Seattle is really special! It’s close to Leavenworth, which is the Germantown and close to a lot of hiking trails! My cousin had her wedding here and rented out all of the buildings at once. It was perfect! Each lodge has its own hot tub. And they are all pretty much walking distance from each other! The people checking you in are nice. Each cabins ambience is so cool and you feel like you are in a bougie cabin in the woods. If you are looking for wedding venues, outside of Seattle, definitely check this one out!”

“Ol' Freighthouse Square. Situated just between the Link and the Sounder station, it's a decent place to sit and have a bite while waiting for the next train to come by. There are two parts to the square, a food court with an incredibly varied selection of foods, from curry to burgers to pho and more. The other (much larger) side hosts several dozen artisan shops, a lot of jewelry shops, handicraft vendors, stuff like that. There's also a store downstairs that sells cards, action figures and other nerdy stuff. It might look a little dilapidated on the outside (and maybe a little on the inside too) but it only serves to contribute to its incredibly rustic atmosphere.”
