Just saw Wish You Were Here last night and it is by far the best concert of the season! This was my 3rd season attending Rocking on the River venue and I'm elated to go again. The beers are $5 and the carnival food is well...carnival food and its good stuff when you got a nice buzz going. At the end of the show there was 1 consession stand open selling Gyros for $10 and they were totally worth it. I'm a gyro connoisseur and host parties where I'll make gyros and these ones definitely passed the test of quality and good value for amount of meat and veggies and taziki sauce you got. Not to mention...it's the perfect end of the night snack after drinking.”

“Where even to begin with Nazareth Hall!! I worked with Katie, and she made the whole process so easy and fun. Katie is the kindest, sweetest person and I had no doubt that everything would be perfect when it came to the day of (and it was). The day of, we had Caroline as our hostess. She was so wonderful and helpful, I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her! (I’m pretty sure by the end of the night I told her I loved her and asked her to be my new best friend.) From fluffing my dress, to bringing my husband and I drinks during photos, and making sure I always had what I needed she was always there to help and answer any questions. I could go on and on about how wonderful our entire experience was, I would not have changed a thing.”

“Went for the corn maze and was disappointed. It was a tiny maze with no map to direct you. You're kind of in there blindly. It went fast though and were able to get out but it kind of took away the excitement. The exit had no signage that it was indeed the exit so we're confused that it actually was an exit or just a section where you can leave early. I just couldn't believe it could be over in less than 15 minutes. This place is definitely great if you have little kids 3-10 year olds but teens and adults it's just boring. $14 to get in to do a corn maze in 15 minutes and then a ride on a tractor that takes you around the farm so you can see trash is not a fun time. They have extra stuff to do but you had to pay more to do them. Food on site was also expensive. $10 for a cheeseburger is insane. The store had a lot of gifts and Fall/Halloween/Christmas stuff. There were also cider and cookies from Kaufman bakery (yum). The customer service was great and everyone was super nice.”

Answered all our questions, fixed the stopped-up bathtub and provided extra blankets within the hour, Had family over and had a great time. Fabulous!”

“Avon Oaks was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! Cocktail hour is held in a separate space upstairs that has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful golf course. The best part about this is that your guests can watch the bridal party taking pictures on the golf course while they enjoy cocktail hour! The views on the golf course are breathtaking and look gorgeous in our wedding pictures! We were even able to take a couple of golf carts out to take pictures at different locations on the course. We had 230 guests total, and the ballroom was spacious enough that it never felt crowded. The ballroom is absolutely beautiful and the lighting they have on the head table and ceiling give the room another layer of elegance. The food was delicious, and we got so many compliments on it! They had so many options to choose from and were very accommodating on dietary restrictions for our guests. Lastly, Patti was amazing to work with and made the planning process seamless! She was always quick to respond to any questions we had and made herself available to whatever we needed on the wedding day! Set up and clean-up is completely taken care of by Patti and her team, so you don’t have to worry about it and are able to relax and enjoy the day before and after! We would recommend Avon Oaks in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a wedding venue!”

“Lots of needless complaints on here, if you had a bad golfing experience perhaps go practice some more, most holes you play your not supposed to have a clear shot at the fairway lol, i suspect these individuals are horrible at the sport….or expect a hole in one, on every hole, and to be given a participation award, and to those that complain about catering just know it is such… times are tough and it isnt easy in any shape or form to find these things at some times. Im sure they did their best. Lighten up a bit people.”

“I do not have words to describe the experience I had at this campground.we have been season campers for around 10 years and it was really great at first we had lots of fun and would go every weekend to our camper and have a blast that was until the pandemic, we where still aloud to go and we did but it started to get bad when the staff/owners would go around giving violations of the rules for things they approved then things got a little better when they faded away for a wile but then comes 2021 the same thing kept happening with random violations for no reason campers started speaking up but the owners response was up the price lower the electricity and up pump out rates everything got more expensive for less quality then came 2022 it became terrible they where moving things on peoples sites, throwing things away and yelling at kids for having electric dirt bikes in the rules there are no gas powered vehicles allowed except for cars to come and leave so campers use electric golf carts for transportation so kids thought electric dirt bikes would be ok (they where wrong) almost immediately they would told they cold not have them and where repeatedly yelled at and yes yelled at also the staff use gas posed kubotas for transportation then lastly came 2023 the final straw for us we started the season knowing it could be are last but still hoping things could change they did not instead prices where raised by 2x and the staff got super rude and this time we had enough we made the decision to leave and we plan on never coming back again they where so rude and disrespectful to there campers that loved to going and hanging out with friends and we are so sad that they would do stuff that that to there community of people who camp there so please if you go to this terrible rude place be prepared for rude staff and bad cabins. Also I don’t know where to start with the cabins they are disgusting dirty and old the wood is rotting and thre are spider everywhere then there is tent camping there is glass everywhere and the ports potties seem to be never cleaned the front shower house has had at least 5 health violations and pond is dirty there are fish that bit you while swimming and if they did not die it it would poop brown In total this campground is atrocious and the staff is beyond rude to campers. “I grew up in the area and went to the show several times as a kid back in the 70's when it was the airshow to go to. I have been back several times over the last several years and it seems to me like this show has lost some of what it once was but nevertheless is still worth going to if you like seeing airplanes and such. My biggest complaint is what they have done to photographers by eliminating the photo pit or moving it to the end of the show line in favor of more premium box and club level seating. They have really cheated the general spectator as the general public seating is also pushed further down and away from show center. I also do not like the pauses between acts. Dont get me wrong there are still opportunities and most will enjoy the planes. Be prepared as food and beverage is overpriced but that is typical at events like this.”
