“My wife and I have been going to Family Pet Clinic for our fuzzy family's needs for the past 5 years now. We've been very pleased with their prompt and professional service. You can almost always make a same day appointment if your pet isn't feeling well. I feel like the providers and staff always go above and beyond for our cats. We'll be coming back for years to come.”

“Highly recommend. I would give this place 20 stars if I could . I’ve never met a vet where they love and care such about fur babies like this place does. Staff are so friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable and helpful . They actually care about the pet and not making money. Pudgie loves everyone here and wishes them happy holidays ❤️”

“I put my faith in this vet when my husband rescued our cat and then later our pup and other cat. We never questioned it. We never loved the cost and often felt uneasy however again we just felt this was because its expensive and pet care is tough - a highly anxious dog as well. The first issue began when they suggested we sedate our dog for appointments because she shouldn't get as stressed as she was and it was bad for her. They showed us a chart etc and again we trusted them. So we did that a few times but it always felt like scary to sedate her and wished we could find a way to get her more comfortable vs sedate her for the rest of her life wasn't a very great solution? Then one of my dogs many issues with her GI system - we once again paid a ton and had them do tests. The vet called and essentially said she needed an ultra sound because there was signs in her blood work that were very concerning etc etc. We essentially felt our dog was dying. We saved and spent close to $1000 by the place we went for an ultrasound to be told that there's absolutely nothing wrong and they had no idea how they possibly could have led us to believe this and that most likely it was mishandling of blood work. So then we began our search for a new vet to see if it was us or the vet sort of speak. Then my senior cat - lord she has a thyroid problem and it's been so much to try to regulate her. They had us do transdermal application of meds because we couldn't get a pill in her consistently. Fine. We did this for a long time while she continued to waste away to nothing. The last time they told us her levels were fine for thyroid and she was down to I think 4lbs. That she was most likely dying from either kidney or heart issues and we wouldn't be able to figure that out unless we did a lot of tests and to switch her to an expensive kidney diet. Also basically that she would be dying soon. This felt wrong - my cat seemed like her thyroid was not regulated so I went to our new vet for our dog for a second opinion. We were planning on transitioning but like I said we wanted to like this vet as we've trusted them for years. She said absolutely hyperthyroid - we should have been directed how to administer the medication and how to properly take care of a. hyperthyroid cat and now that I think of it absolutely we should have but we trusted the way we were directed to apply it and she had been checked regularly for blood work. We learned how to care for her ears and give the meds properly and lo and behold she started gaining weight and she is back to her normal self. I am so discouraged by this vet. I don't think they are malicious but I do know we have never had a consistent vet. they seem to come and go and I think the fact that it was always someone new had a lot to do with the poor care my animals received. I mourned two pets that if I had trusted them vs getting a second opinion I honestly know I would have put my cat down at least because we couldn't imagine watching her starve to death any more. I also attempted to resolve my issue about the mishandling of my dogs blood work but they flat out rejected my attempts to speak to someone in charge there. They wanted the results first before I spoke to them and I felt that was so shady. I think most the staff up front are so caring and kind and I very much am sad to write this post but I don't want another pet owner to go through this. I will say we are a family of 5 and money is hard for us so we couldn't always shell out all the money they wanted for tests or extra testing however that should not mean that we get poor feedback when we DO get the blood work done. I would have rather an I DONT KNOW than telling me my cat was dying and also my dog essentially had some sort of kidney/liver disease (I forget which one they said). The tears I cried about both these animals is awful. I am taking my 3rd cat to the new vet to see if the diagnosis of this one is true now too. Stay away if you're a busy family and trying to get good honest care.”

Buckingham Animal Hospital

“The staff here is very nice and completely understanding. The doctor's knowledgeable and accommodating. I have two little dogs, often bring my sometimes difficult mother with me, and the staff are completely patient angels even when faced with a tense situation. Pets are family and emotions can run high and they clearly understand this. I drive 45 minutes pass three other vets offices to come here.”
