“We love Dr Hardy. She always gives great advice and sits on the floor with my dog. She is great with unfriendly dogs as well. I love the staff and they are usually able to get me in within a couple of weeks. The price is a little high but it is absolutely worth it for the quality.”

“I needed insulin for my little dog. My usual supply place was out of the product. I needed it -=fast, so I contacted California Pet Pharmacy and asked to have it Shipped overnight, refrigerated (FedEx). Very expensive, but you gotta do what you gotta do. It arrived today very well refrigerated. I’m delighted that I found California pet pharmacy. They are less than 200 miles from where I live so if I ever really needed to go into their place, it would be easy to do. Thank you very much great service CissyB”

“10 stars service Hey Google Is there any option to give East Bay SPCA Oakland more than 5 stars for their services? My boy Hachi The Siberian Husky got neutered today and it was an emotional and panic moment as a fur parent. I booked the appointment well in advance (2 months ago) and in constant touch with the staff members. I made multiple calls to do all the checkin requirements over the phone and got all the necessary answers. The reason was choosing SPCA came at the last moment when My Vet gave me a quote of $900 for neutering and it was way too much. I decided to enquire more about the low cost clinics and thanks to Google Reviews and local dog’s group gave me lot of positive feedback. Start to end process Hachi is close to 52 pounds and we were told to checkin at 7:15 am. We reached little late and there was a huge checkin queue. We completed all the paper work and after 20 mins assistant came with the leash, took Hachi and asked us to wait so that doc can give us a call for surgery approval. They do some pre- examination prior to the surgery. Once we got the call from the doctor we were told to come back at 3:30pm for pickup. We were anxious 😥 but the staff were so helpful. They gave us a call to let us know that surgery is done and we can pick him up. Seeing hachi we were so relieved. Though we took two surgery cones with us but because of the sizing issue we had to purchase XL size from the clinic for $16. Overall the surgery went well. We were also provided pain relief tablets and all the instructions given to us by the assistant. The total surgery costed us close to 227 which was not at all bad if you compare with $900. SPCA needs more funding so that they can operate well. Private clinics are way too expensive. I will be coming back again for Hachi’s shots and medications. A very happy Mommy”

Redwood Animal Hospital

“The doctors are good but I hate calling to their office or interacting with their receptionists, because one of the receptionists is very very rude. I was very polite and stayed very patient over the phone m. All I wanted is a vet appointment for my dog. This receptionist is very irritated and was upset that many people are calling, it’s holiday season, no appointments are available and told me to go find another vet etc.. I’m fine to search for vet care at another place if she politely says there are no appointments. She doesn’t have to be rude at customers. I did nothing to upset her. I don’t understand how the management doesn’t notice her behavior. They respond to the reviews. Hope they see this review and addresses the problem they have. Can’t they provide good customer service at the front desk? It is not hard to be nice to people. Due to this terrible receptionist, I’m giving them 3 stars.”

Uni Pet Clinic - Union City

“The patient experience will vary based on the front desk and technician you work with. Sometimes it great and feels like they want you informed on your pets health. Sometimes it is the opposite and it's like driving your car to an oil change shop and your pet is treated like a car that is getting a menu of stuff taken care of. It's not the worst place, and is an adequate clinic, but it's an inconsistent enough patient experience where we will go look for another clinic.”

Pets Referral Center

“Barely any wait time to be seen and the nurses and Vet were very kind and treated my dogs face wound when she was attacked by another dog. The initial price they gave us was more then we could afford so thankfully they worked with us on that and we had her (my puppy) back first thing in the morning. Would very much recommend.”
