“This is a place that you must visit. And I trust I am not alone thinking this way! Extraordinary staff , very well designed room/swimming pool, in my room they even deco a curtain in front bathroom entrance (it is very bright during daylight, and in my room sun light will illuminate the bed)! No elevator, many room needed up/sown stairs. * They got a fantastic pool view which you might never get in common life. It's design is something you are not seeing anywhere else! Although, have to say...... small things to note: Many of it's equipment are top notch, Mitsubishi air conditioner, Panasonic indoor multi-function phone, but their toilet is the typical European common type, splashing fiercely but not quite did their cleaning job, and you will be forced to cover the lid , thenre-clean each time you use..... Finally, the last thing is, there are just too many stairs..... But it's still a lovely resort worth staying!”

“Stunning views, delicious food, and friendly staff! This was the best stay we had during our 2.5 week trip to Italy. Truly a 5 star stay, nothing compares to the hospitality at Il Borro. All the restaurants on site were absolutely delicious. They have so many experiences on site such as horseback riding, wine tasting, and cooking classes. We took part in a wine and cheese tasting where we also got a tour of the distillery. Since we went in the off season it ended up being a private wine tasting. Our room was in the restored medieval village which was an experience on its own. We have not been able to stop raving about our time at Il Borro to our friends and family we highly recommend staying here! Hope to visit again one day!”

The lounge/dock area is amazing with paddle boards, kayaks and a water trampoline all available for hotel guests. The hotel is located about a 2 minute walk from the bus stop and a 10 minute walk from the ferry, both of which will take you to Bellagio and other destinations on the lake. Finally, the hotel restaurant was outstanding -from the food to the views to the wine list. This hotel is low key but very comfortable. “Awesome! Just awesome experience. This location is full of history and it takes you back in time with it's architecture, paintings but also the stories surounding this Villa. We had the pleasure to see the real piano where Traviata was finished and perfected also this Villa was the rest spot for American president Ronald Reagan who landed with his helicopter on the lawn. He had a very peculiar demand, to sleep in his very own American bed. He had it flown from America, specially for this night. The rest of the story I will let you find out from the hosts. The service was top and the food great. I would recommend this villa 5/5 !”

“The resort is extremely well kept and spacious. The rooms were very clean and perfect for a small family. The nice patio furniture was cosy for relaxing evenings. I wouldn’t return for a stay with my wife, as there are far too many children for a romantic getaway. Perhaps they should consider a adult only section of the resort or are for kids over 10, to give people with older children an option for a “quiet stay”. As there are many small children, the food left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was a cheap, but sugar loaded, but a worthwhile addition to the stay. If you’re expecting healthy food, you might want to bring your own groceries and eat at your cottage. Dinner looked unappealing and certainly not worth the 40€ fee per person, so we elected to go out to other restaurants in the neighbourhood for better food and they were cheaper. The bike rental was a good addition, but their working hours are limited 9:30-18:00. The beach was fantastic and within a 5-10 minute walk. The bathrooms on the beach for resort guests were well kept and a nice change from the public beaches down the road. They don’t really enforce the “no pets” as there were multiple families with their dogs. Since I love dogs, I didn’t mind, but seeing dogs pooping on the beach multiple times made me wonder if it would bother me more if I had younger children playing in the sand.”

“Lovely hotel maybe 10 min outside Pesaro town center. Gorgeous grounds with a maze of gardens and statuary everywhere. Beautiful pool area. Pretty much everyone spoke enough English. Hotel staff at desk were so nice and helpful. Wait staff was excellent. Room was a little stark and did not have many drawers to unpack. That said, we were comfortable. Breakfast included although not much for my tastes...good croissants and hard boiled eggs. Scrambled eggs very uncooked for my taste. Coffee was hit and miss...one day strong, next weak. Lovely, relaxing breakfast room. No restaurant on premises. There was one in walking distance but food was fair. Pizza was good. Lovely garden patio front and back.”
