“This COULD be a beautiful, restful, relaxing island but they have ruined it! There is trash EVERYWHERE. It's not up to American standards or European standards at all. The smells from their public restrooms are nauseating and there is a constant smell and pillows of smoke from trash being burned directing behind the different resorts. The sand is soft but littered with lighters, bags, cigarette butts and bottles. It's not worth your hard earned money!”

“Honestly a great hostel, This is a social hostel but not a party one, You can easily meet people through the hiking tours or even just the common room/cafe. The rooms are quite packed with rooms and are all capsules if you're in the main dorm. The rules are a bit strict here especially regarding quiet time after 11 and the safety in tours, but honestly I can respect that. Its a good place to stay if you want something fairly cheap to other hostels.”

“Awesome place, perfect weekend getway with ur friends and family. We took the family room and a normal room. Both rooms were clean and cozy. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. So we had some issues with socket placing but i guess it was fine. Do not recommend going out after 7pm, it gets really dark and no proper streetlights. No shops nearby. Need to drive down ard 15mins to the nearest shops No variety of breakfast , so they would serve whatever they made. We had burritos, with scrambled eggs, salsa verde and corn”

Cons: Need to pay rm100 refundable deposit which I thought is unreasonable coz nothing much inside room.The bed is quite small and had trouble sleeping for adults considering we are Asians 🤣.Water pressure is quite slow sometimes. Overall had an average experience if not of the beds, would have given an outright 5 star.”
