“The hotel provided a decent stay, but cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. We were given a small room smelling bad and not cleaned at all. There were stains everywhere in the room even on bedsheets. We had to ask the staff to change our bedsheets and put an air freshener. Later, the property manager (couldn't get his name) offered us a new room. We were given an incorrect bill for the extra meals we purchased and they had to refund me the overcharged amount. The staff was really helpful.The way their property manager deals with their guests should be really appreciated. When it comes to food, I cannot complain about a single thing. They served us very delicious food. Overall experience was not great.”

“An amazing property nestled in the mountains of Hantana in Kandy. My family and I spent two nights here and it was an amazing time. The view from the dining area overlooking the knuckles mountain range is pure magic. Colonial feeling that the bungalow and its suites offer is simply unmatched. The food was delicious and the highlight for me was the freshly baked bread basket that was served with every meal. They also provide various experiences with the knowledgeable and friendly naturalists who offer unique insights. The only drawback for me was the level of service. For a property of W15’s caliber, service has to be much better than what was on offer.”

“Recently stayed at this eco-lodge, and while the environment and certain facilities were beautiful, my overall experience was unfortunately marred by several significant concerns. One main issue was the refusal to assist in bringing urgently needed medicines using their 4-wheel vehicle, despite the location's exclusive accessibility via such vehicles. This lack of assistance was distressing and showed a lack of flexibility and care. would have been a different experience all-together if not for the effort made by a kind hearted 3 wheeler driver who reached us with the medicines after a super normal effort. The inconsistency in hot water availability, especially in a cold area, was discomforting. Additionally, the absence of lighting in the common outside hut, the main space for outdoor gatherings, was a letdown. While an alternative space was offered, its cleanliness didn't meet expectations. The quality of snacks and meals, apart from the breakfast options, was subpar. definitely not worth the price they charge. Moreover, the delayed check-in until 3.50 pm in one facility due to room arrangements affected our plans. Safety was another concern, notably the high-risk access bridge to one of the facility rooms. Unfortunately, one guest experienced a minor physical injury due to a fall from this bridge, highlighting safety negligence. On a positive note, the environment was breathtaking, and two huts displayed commendable facility quality ( wood cabin was a disaster with no basic facilities and very poor maintenance) Additionally, the staff demonstrated kindness and care despite the operational challenges. In summary, while the location was stunning and some areas showcased quality, the overall experience was overshadowed by numerous drawbacks, especially in crucial areas of safety, service, and timely assistance compared to other less cost options available in the area.”
