Shout out to Silvia (and her team) at breakfast, and to Rachelle (sp) at dinner for making our stay that much better. Took a star off for the questioning by the pony tailed girl in the spa facility. Came straight up to me, and without so much as a greeting asked if I spoke Italian. Then asked for my name. I enquired if something was the matter and she walked right off without so much as an answer nor an acknowledgement. Beyond rude. Basic manners and courtesy can be extended in any language.”

If you want to eat typical piemontese food, this is the place to go. With kids easy, there is always a pasta dish possible. The facility has a pool as well. Of course you can select different wines from Piemonte.”

“A beautiful hotel located on the cliff side overlooking Alba. The hotel have two electric chargers, one 11kw for Tesla, and one 2.7kw for non Tesla. The traditional restaurant is very good and every meal we had was an experience. The breakfast is served on the same terrace and the view is just stunning! The rooms felt spacious and clean.”

“A beautiful wine cellar with a restaurant in the middle of the vineyards. Amazing view! We had a degustation lunch with 9 dishes and 5 wines and it was all delicious: 4 starters, 2 primi, one secondo and a tris of dolci. Everything localy sourced and typicaly prepared. Pace yourself because there is a lot! You can buy wine later and the bottles are resonably priced. The only thing I would add is a digestivo in the end.”

“We chose the hotel Lo Scoiattolo because we wanted a lower price hotel for our first night since we would arrive quite late in the region. The hotel is simple and good for a 1-night stay. The rooms are clean and bed comfortable (the decoration could be upgraded!). The breakfast is quite simple also, but with good options. The staff put a lot of heart on it and they make the difference. The only disappointment was that the hotel is a little outside of the village. The photos shown on the internet gave me the impression that the hotel was in the village.”
