“Awesome! Just awesome experience. This location is full of history and it takes you back in time with it's architecture, paintings but also the stories surounding this Villa. We had the pleasure to see the real piano where Traviata was finished and perfected also this Villa was the rest spot for American president Ronald Reagan who landed with his helicopter on the lawn. He had a very peculiar demand, to sleep in his very own American bed. He had it flown from America, specially for this night. The rest of the story I will let you find out from the hosts. The service was top and the food great. I would recommend this villa 5/5 !”

“The resort is extremely well kept and spacious. The rooms were very clean and perfect for a small family. The nice patio furniture was cosy for relaxing evenings. I wouldn’t return for a stay with my wife, as there are far too many children for a romantic getaway. Perhaps they should consider a adult only section of the resort or are for kids over 10, to give people with older children an option for a “quiet stay”. As there are many small children, the food left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was a cheap, but sugar loaded, but a worthwhile addition to the stay. If you’re expecting healthy food, you might want to bring your own groceries and eat at your cottage. Dinner looked unappealing and certainly not worth the 40€ fee per person, so we elected to go out to other restaurants in the neighbourhood for better food and they were cheaper. The bike rental was a good addition, but their working hours are limited 9:30-18:00. The beach was fantastic and within a 5-10 minute walk. The bathrooms on the beach for resort guests were well kept and a nice change from the public beaches down the road. They don’t really enforce the “no pets” as there were multiple families with their dogs. Since I love dogs, I didn’t mind, but seeing dogs pooping on the beach multiple times made me wonder if it would bother me more if I had younger children playing in the sand.”

“We have been to quite a bit of SLH. This is the only one that we are truly disappointed. First of all the room we booked was a suite and it turned out too be very small room on the top floor with a very small window blocked partually by the roof. The whole hotel has no AC so for the whole stay we have to open the window and use a fan to provide enough circulation and cold air to keep the room cool. It is awkward because now you cannot close the bind and your neighbor can see the room from their balcony. The breakfast selection was small compared to the other hotel Alder Spa Resort we stayed nearby. The waitor, Nicolas was new but very absent minded. For two breakfasts we stay (one bay we had a box breakfast) he managed to forgot, missed our breakfast and coffee orders. Just cannot imagine a hotel you pay USD500-600 per night can provide these poor service, especially a member of SLH! Hope that you can avoid this hotel next time you are in Dolomites. Another hotel we stayed for one night and it was surprisingly good was Kinder Cycling hotel. Even though it is a little noisy nut the facility, restaurant, and the building was tastefully designed. Food at this hotel was very good!”

“We stayed for two nights and we really enjoyed it. The hotel is old, as most of the hotels in Lido di Jesolo. But it is very well renovated, with modern and really nice areas. You can tell that it is an older building from the outside and also the corridors, bathrooms and balconies. Otherwise the hotel was clean, amazing view from the balcony, the restaurant is really modern with sea view. The breakfast was rich, we haven't tried the spa and pool but it seemed okay. Parking and two sunbeds + umbrella on the beach are included in the price.”

“Almost perfect 9/10. Beautifully renovated villa. Very clean and modern throughout. Pool area is lovely. Staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. Parking is convenient and free. Location is unfortunately next to a road which which isn’t a problem most of the time but if you’re sat near the small pool/jacuzzi then the road noise is louder with the smell of fumes. The villa is pretty much in the middle of nowhere (could be a positive or a negative) so I would suggest a vehicle is imperative; especially as they do not do dinner. We had to drive out every night. This may be an issue if you like to drink in the day. The benefit of this was that we found some really nice places to eat. The breakfast is good and just what we needed with a mix of sweet and savoury. Lunch menu is very limited but the food was okay. Service was slow on several occasions though. There is no dinner service which seems such a shame given there is ample room and a lovely area next to the pool to eat as well as areas inside. There was no welcome drink or snacks which would have been a nice touch. Room was very nice. The bed was super comfortable! We asked for an ironing board and iron and they lent us one for the stay which was great! I don’t think the air conditioning worked properly though. Adjusting the temperature made no difference and it would come on then just go off. The chrome cast on the TV wouldn’t work and I asked three times if it could be fixed; it never was. The bathroom door also wouldn’t close properly. There is a minibar in the room but it was pretty expensive. We spent most of our days by the pool which is a nice place to be. There was a distinct lack of pool service though. In 6 days I think we got asked twice if we wanted anything. To get a drink sometimes it was difficult to find someone and the same when sitting down for lunch. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would gladly return; amazing for the price. A few improvements though and it could be perfect.”
