“Stunning views, delicious food, and friendly staff! This was the best stay we had during our 2.5 week trip to Italy. Truly a 5 star stay, nothing compares to the hospitality at Il Borro. All the restaurants on site were absolutely delicious. They have so many experiences on site such as horseback riding, wine tasting, and cooking classes. We took part in a wine and cheese tasting where we also got a tour of the distillery. Since we went in the off season it ended up being a private wine tasting. Our room was in the restored medieval village which was an experience on its own. We have not been able to stop raving about our time at Il Borro to our friends and family we highly recommend staying here! Hope to visit again one day!”

“The most unique place we stayed during our trip to Italy. We decided to book the tree house for 4 days for a more relaxed vibe during our 2 week vacation to Italy and we were not disappointed! We rented a car in Florence which I would highly recommend for the easiest way of getting to and from the hotel since it is a little off the beaten path. Private parking, room was amazing, staff and housekeeping were very friendly, and the views of Tuscany were unmatched. The tree house has full glass windows on one side of the room, which makes waking up every day to the beautiful Rolling hills and vineyards one of the best experiences we could have asked for.”

“We stayed at Belagaggio in October 2023. Family of 3 with a 2.5y.o. It was pure bliss. The structure is just gorgeous and about to become even more beautiful when the owners' house will also be fully revamped with a stone facade. The surrounding area is incredible as well, and the beautiful Pienza and Montefollonico are quite close. We had the Alcova room with en-suite jacuzzi, perfect room! Food was delicious and freshly made every day by the owners under the supervision of the uber-skilled owner's grandma :) The waiter, Luca, was very fun to be around! The only drawbacks for us were: 1. Dinners are served late and they take a LONG time. Don't expect a restaurant-style service here. You basically eat with the owners who eat in the next room. We used to wait even 45-60 minutes between the starters and the first course. Some days were worse than others. Generally we didn't mind too much, but it can get frustrating at times and we didn't have the courage to tell them because they were so nice to us. Just be mindful if you are an early bird and dislike getting to bed at 22:30 with a very full stomach. Sleep wasn't great afterwards, and I am Italian myself! 2. Breakfast cakes would be served even after a couple days when they were clearly not fresh and enjoyable anymore. While it's okay to do so at home and I get the waste argument, it's not super nice when on holidays and you paid for half board. Other than the 2 drawbacks you should be mindful of, it was a 5-star experience for us still. Thank you!”

“The resort was absolutely beautiful and extremely well-kept. Staff and service were outstanding. The staff were always willing to assist and accommodate with anything we needed. Food was excellent, and each of the restaurants and common areas were so beautifully furnished and designed. The amenities were awesome! We made good use of the spa, which includes a heated pool that connects to the outside. This was great for cold weather since the normal pool was closed due to weather. Gym was spacious and had adequate equipment and even came with snacks, headphones, and cold towels. The excursions and activities were a bit pricey, but we did splurge on the wine tour and had a great time with Alex! Would definitely recommend and return again!”

“We had an overall nice stay at the hotel. The room was very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the Arno. The breakfast buffet offered many options, I only wish there was a bigger variety of fruit. The spa area is quite small, with two small saunas, 2 showers, a relaxation area and a hydro massage pool; but it was still very enjoyable. The fitness area only has three cardio machines, which we found a little disappointing. I don’t understand why we were only allowed to use both areas for an hour daily. The biggest downturn of this hotel is its location. It is located right next to a large, busy street which is 40 minutes away from the city center by foot. They offer a pick-up and drop-off shuttle service, but the times are very limited. We mostly used an e-scooter to get around, as the last pick-up time is around 7pm – which is quite early if you’re looking to have some nice dinner in the city before coming back to the hotel. We had a car, but parking inside the city as a tourist is an absolute nightmare, so beware. Besides, the hotel charged us a whopping 25 euros per day for parking there, which we also found extremely nonsensical. This kind of service should be free for guests, especially in such a nice hotel.”

“The room furniture is outdated but still comfortable stay at Maremma Tuscany Village. Location is fine if you are by car, otherwise everything is far away. Pool area is ok, not a the most attractive but fun for the kids. Quality of the food at the restaurant is average, not the best. “Villa Bracali sits on a hill in Tuscany. It has great potential for being a great calm retreat. They even specify on their web page that they are an "ideal place to free the mind of chaos and everyday life". This might be true, but they can't both claim that, and host loud parties with thumping music in the garden. We expected a few days of winding down, but that was ruined by a party booking in the garden. Overall this feels more like a normal hotel than the tuscan agritourism. Service is pleasant, but perhaps a bit relaxed. The food we had was really good, and we recommend to take the daily menu for the best experience. A fine hotel experience, but not as calm as we expected from the web site.”
