“This a truly wonderful experience if you are interested in historical sites, especially pertaining to WWII. Not only is the site fascinating by itself but the first lady we met enthusiastically explained the historical relevance to Switzerland and guided us the best way to walk through the forte. It is also very interactive which makes it much more interesting. I could have stayed at the VR interactive game all day to the dismay of my wife. If I did it again, I would have visited the castle and the Forte of Chillon in the same day.”

“This Park offers a lot. There is enough room to chill out if you want and or need it but at the same time there are many recreational things to be done. There are regular events and a Café (which is only open Wednesday through Friday). The city gardening department has a big greenhouse as well with many different Flora to be looked at. Finally the park is also quite close to the Dälhölzli-Zoo and is therefore a great place to take a break after spending hours reading up on animal facts and watching them in their cages.”

“Another ‘must see’ when in Meiringen. I would suggest buying the combi ticket which is CHF18 for adults and allows you to do the iconic Aareschlucht walk and access to this lovely little funicular cable train upto the Reitenbach falls. Absolutely stunning views of the falls and of The Valley below. You can do a fantastic hike from the top of the falls , across and down the ridge of the mountain and it will bring you to the west entrance of the Aareschlucht. There are some very steep downward paths however so appropriate forward is definitely necessary. Along our walk away from the falls we encountered forested areas , farming areas and beautiful views of various mountain peaks. The actual Reichenbach falls ‘Train’ makes it possible for everyone to have a view of this iconic and historic waterfall. Once again you experience the true beauty of nature in the Swiss surroundings.”

“A well equipped indoor soft play area, suitable for babies, toddlers and big children. There is fun for all ages even for parents while supervising own kids, if you need to follow them around. It was very busy and everyone was playing nicely. The staff are very kind and happy to give extra information if needed. We are definitely coming back soon. Our girls weren't happy to leave the place 😕.”
