“F a b u l o u s !! We had an amazing experience. The forest and surrounding landscapes were magnificent. The children had a wonderful experience (so did the adults when they cycled for us!) We took the little train from La ferté tourist information. The driver is very knowledgeable about the area. And all the other staff were lovely. We were the first "cyclists" so we pedaled fast but the return we were last so returned serenely. Picnic area has toilets. We took our dog on the lead and our lap.”

Eiffel Tower
4.6
( 8 reviews )

Champ de Mars, 5 Av. Anatole France, 75007 Paris, France

“The Eiffel Tower is an absolute marvel and an iconic symbol of Paris that exceeded all my expectations. Standing beneath its towering structure, you can't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. The intricate lattice of ironwork is a testament to engineering brilliance, and the panoramic views of Paris from the various observation decks are simply breathtaking. I recommend visiting at different times of the day to witness the tower's changing personality – whether it's the morning sun casting a warm glow or the sparkling lights that transform it into a beacon of romance at night. The elevator ride to the top provides a thrilling perspective of the city, and the informative displays along the way offer insights into the tower's history. The Champ de Mars park surrounding the Eiffel Tower is a delightful place for a leisurely stroll or a picnic, offering a serene contrast to the bustling city beyond. From proposals and family photos to solo contemplation, the Eiffel Tower is an experience that caters to all. It's not just a landmark; it's a symbol of Parisian charm, elegance, and the enduring magic that captivates visitors from around the world.”

Of course, it is worth mentioning the Hotel-Dieu Museum and the Notre Dame Basilica. And in general, beautiful streets where you can walk, sit, relax. For a bite to eat or wine tasting, there are plenty of cafes in the old town and prominent cellars. Great parking opportunity around the old town, we found a spot near the triumphal arch.”

4 Pl. des Héros, 62000 Arras, France

“Booked the 5pm tour on the 17/12/2023. Enjoyed learning about the history of Arras. Our guide (I'm not sure of his name) was brilliant, we were the only English speakers and he translated for us - even though it effectively meant running two tours. Big thank you to him for being so accommodating!”

“Situated in the lovely town of Arrens-Marsous, the office de tourisme will help you to get the most from your journey through the Pyrenees mountains that tower steeply close by. The village itself has many charming and interesting features, with some great shops too. We visited the delicatessen for local produce and also enjoyed the ice creams they sell. We also recommend that you drive the Col d'Aubisque for stunning unforgettable views of the mountains. Then perhaps visit the Petit Train d'Artouste, a fabulous train ride that clings to the side of the mountains and ends up at the Lac d'Artouste.”
