We saved a fortune on decor by picking from their huge decor supply room that they offer to their couples, it has items for every style and aesthetic! I highly recommend Emma as a month of coordinator. I was able to spend the time leading up to my wedding and the day itself relaxing without having to worry about any of the details. The entire property is so beautiful from the chapel to the reception hall to the many scenic areas for photos. I truly cannot imagine any other place we would have had such a perfect day. “We are glad we chose to have our wedding at The Laurel. It was nice having the catering done in house. Chef Justo was incredible to work with (more on Justo and catering in a separate review). The Laurel was a beautiful space, and the team was highly competent. We always felt heard and accommodated in our meetings with our day-of coordinator, Maggie. She was also quick to reply to phone calls or emails from us with questions or concerns. And then on the actual day, she helped the whole thing run like a well-oiled machine. The venue worked with us to make our wedding as custom as we wanted, including our getaway vehicle and allowing my sweet dog to bring our rings down the aisle. My only negative was that we were considering having a completely dry wedding for family reasons, and while they were fine with that, they still required us to meet the beverage minimum, which would have been next to impossible with only juices, sodas, and water. That being said, we did still choose them for many reasons, and we did the basic beer/wine package. Another thing to note for decorating purposes is that you may not attach things to walls, rafters, or pews using command hooks, tape, staples, or anything else. All in all, we were very happy with our choice. Everything ran smoothly, and the staff are highly competent, upbeat, and pleasant to work with.”

Rhonda and the entire staff were very kind, helpful, friendly, and very respectful during the entire process. Bartenders and clean up staff did a wonderfull job with the serving, setup and cleanup. They made sure we didn't forget anything. Great attention to detail and in the midst of stress that is very helpful. The venue itself is wonderful and the rooms even better. They also have smaller rooms for small gatherings that also has everything you need and well equipped. I'm so glad to have booked this venue and would use them again if needed.”

I’m on a high floor and I can’t hear my TV over it. Forget about sleeping. I will be calling the police every weekend until they get shut down or learn to respect their neighbors.”

“Hired for my wedding. A three tier cake for 100 people. Base layer (biggest layer) was fake as discussed. Provided all the inspiration pictures and had a long in-person consultation and cake tasting. Everything was disclosed and discussed. I was assured of what I’ll be getting. I specifically asked about the cake topper and the owner herself confirmed it is possible and it will be done. I wanted a 3-D bird on top. We discussed the shade of gold and it was not even close to the shade I picked. My only issue despite the let downs was the price which was a lot more than any other business for what I asked. I could have gotten a better execution maybe even without the hideous cake topper for a much lesser price. Taste was good, customer service is excellent. But over $1600 usd + rental for a two tier cake and a fake layer is too much”
