The Ten Bells

247 Broome St, New York, NY 10002, United States

“GREAT happy hour option. $1 oysters and a $20 carafe of wine. The place got filled up at the bar pretty quickly, but it has a back room with a long table and an outdoor area. Might be my next oyster spot! (And will still come back for tapas too)”

“I was ecstatic to give this a visit on our trip to the big apple- the end result was just alright. We didn’t have a reservation, and we’re seated at our choosing (the bar) Kevin was attentive, and helpful with which wine to navigate next with. Four stars as -the aracini was a bit dry, needs more sauce or perhaps over cooked slightly. The plate needed a little finish wipe (nothing to cry over), the bursted tomatoes were a highlight of this dish with the pesto -truffle pasta lacked sauce too, and not much flavor, another dish that was just ok -short rib was spot on of the three, the mushrooms were delicate and delightful; the short rib pulled apart without tugging, too very little to no fatty pieces present -a plus note, all dishes had beautiful presentation to them -our neighbors had the tower, which was a unique way of cheese + charcuterie Overall, experience was pretty good, wine list was plenty to offer, especially when there’s wine you don’t normally get to try, atmosphere was cozy. I would absolutely come here for a glass with a friend or book. Wanted to try the wine flight, ran out of time.”

The Standard, High Line, 848 Washington St, New York, NY 10014, United States

“Great place to view the city at night and see the sunset. I had no issues getting in and felt the staff was great! Enter from the side and not through the hotel. There is typically a short line outside that moves rather fast. Place is not open too late so don’t plan on parting till midnight! Manhattan drink was made with Wild Turkey.”

“My first time here and I had a lovely experience. I came for a work outing. The service was amazing. There was nothing that I can complain about the atmosphere was sophisticated and elegant. We were all comfortable and enjoyed our time there. The coconut espresso martini was delicious five of us ordered it. We had two different kinds of wine that were very tasty. The food was good, and the servers were very friendly.”

“Cute, kitschy bar with eclectic decor from Japanese face masks on the wall to random Bollywood art hanging in the back, and the coolest bathroom. Stopped by early Friday night like typical happy hour time, just a handful of tables inside but there was plenty of space, plus some tables outside. Approachable and friendly bar staff. Happy hour drinks are a steal I think $8-12, and really other good seasonal drinks too that were $15-16. Amazing playlist, early 2000s hip hop, some of my favorite Ashanti songs (maybe a niche reference). Stopped by as a quick pit stop before a movie, definitely wished we stayed longer.”

Bibi Wine Bar

211 E 4th St, New York, NY 10009, United States

“This place is a perfect date spot or drink with a friend vibe. Great lighting. Cute seating options either at tables or at the bar. Great happy hour till 8! The wine list is 10/10. Food list is fine. Not super creative but a some good options for little snacks to accompany the drinks. Both dishes we ordered were yummy! The best part was the service. They were clearly understaffed that night (it happens!). But the one woman that was working there was killing it. Most efficient, most helpful, nice and fast service. Can’t wait to go back!”

The Copper Still Chelsea

“Easily one of the best happy hour spots in the city. The deals are phenomenal and the cocktails are delicious. We ended up going here with some work buddies and tried just about everything on the happy hour menu. It was was great but I think the pork sliders were my favorite. The Brussels sprouts were top notch as well. They have a decent beer selection with a few on the happy hour menu. I’ll be back for sure.”

Sutton Bar Room
4.5
( 8 reviews )

1074 1st Ave., New York, NY 10022, United States

“Sutton Bar Room, formerly known as Sin Bin, is a gem in the heart of the neighborhood, radiating a welcoming vibe that resonates with its patrons. Since its inception, and especially after Nick took over, this pub has transformed into a local favorite. I have been coming to this pub with friends, family, or, most commonly, coworkers. Every visit to Sutton Bar Room feels like coming home. The familiar, cozy atmosphere paired with exceptional staff hard to find elsewhere. In conclusion, Sutton Bar Room isn't just a bar; it's a home where memories are made, be they after 1 drink or 10. It's the kind of place you keep returning to... I still do even after moving out of the neighborhood a few year ago.”

“Stopped by for drinks around 10:30pm on a weeknight. It was fairly empty. The bar is small, but has an amazing view. The music was really good and the decor was simple, but nice. A Coke cost under $2, but an old fashioned was $19 (which is high even for NYC.) They didn't skimp on the amount of alcohol, at least.”

“The atmosphere is really good in here. I always come for the music ands drinks, not so much the food of I want to be honest. I’ve had the short rib tacos (really good), pork belly tacos (it was just a pork taco) no crunchy piece of skin and it was seasoned at all. The Brussels sprout as a side was reallllly good!!! The should drop that the pork belly in the oil like they do the Brussel sprout!”

“View is amazing. Service, food, and drinks weren't. Getting up to our reservation the hostesses were great. We were seated and wonderful views and cute table with blankets. It took 10 minutes to get someone to our table though. Then later they said it was last call and we didn't order any more drinks then and it took 35 more minutes to get them to come back so we could get our check. I wish I could recommend this and take more people here as the views and set up is amazing, but we all agreed the service and food were not good. The ice cream sandwiches were really good though.”
