“I really want to like SiSi. The location is great, the food is delicious, but the service and overall operation was questionable. The atmosphere: was great being right on the water. Sitting outside at sunset is a must. The music, on the other hand, had a party vibe, which didn’t quite fit the style I would expect. The staff: were friendly but the service was not good. For my party, we didn’t have issues, but multiple tables around us did. For a restaurant that charges a high price, it is expected that everything is available on the menu. Typically, specials will sell out, but on the night I went 4-5 main dishes sold out, leaving some tables questioning why they came. I understand selling out of one or two dishes, but certainly not what seemed like half the menu. The food: was delicious. The meze appetizer was really good, but $49 for a cold plate of dips is a steep price. The chicken was tasty, but the short ribs really were the highlight of the meal. The tenderness of the beef and the amazing sauce were a great combo. Like I said, I wanted to like this place, but the service and wait times were a bit too ridiculous.”
