The cost was included as part of the trip, so I can’t comment on the price or value for money, so… This is a beautiful spot in an unknown, (to me at least), region of Italy. The wine doesn’t get exported to the UK which made the whole thing more interesting and fresh. Our guide was great, she was knowledgeable and passionate about the wine and the process, her English was fluent. The wine itself was really good, just a shame I was up to my baggage allowance! If you’re in this area I’d definitely recommend as you’re not going to experience the same anywhere else.”

“if you’re looking for a prestigious cartizze made with passion in a gorgeous, modern winery - this is your place! the tasting was by far the best we experienced. the hostess was highly knowledgeable, accommodating and spoke great english. you are also given a tasting guide to take home with you which helps you appreciate the tasting notes and production process. it explains sour/bitter/acidic tones and how to notice them. they also have organic wines, one of very few in the area. the brut was my favorite, but all wines were of superior quality. this tasting made me more informed on how to taste and appreciate wine :) there is attentional to detail in every design and they offer 4 different tasting options all with 4 glasses (brut, dry, and organic extra dry and organic extra brut). i could not recommend this place more for a refined tasting experience:)”

Compliment the wine with an order of bread, tons of olives , cheese and cured meat. Go outside if it’s lovely and enjoy the moment with love ones. This is the experience the owners want you to leave with. Don’t forget to buy a case or two for the road and replicate this experience at home.”

“This is an amazing experience, a must-do for any wine lovers visiting South Lake Garda. Email the owners in advance to schedule your visit. Rather than dividing the experience evenly between the tour and tasting, Silvia gave us many tastings punctuated by more technical experiences, such as visiting the vat room or viewing the original estate from the vantage point of the house’s tower. This gave the whole experience more of an organic feel, like hanging out with an old friend. The wines themselves were very good. The red is exceptional, particularly for a region focused on Lugana whites. The Luganas, naturally, are the star performers in this show. The pours were extremely generous; I suggest using a taxi service here. We had to call a halt to the proceedings prior to the two grappas which are meant to be the grand finale! The tasting room is actually a family dining room, with a baby grand piano, which guests are invited to play. Silvia provided a huge spread of hors d’ovres such as breads, cheeses, and meats, in order to display the food-pairing utility of the wines. There’s also a bed-and-breakfast experience, currently under construction. We’ll give a review of this next time, once it is ready for guests. Again, I strongly recommend this tasting experience. They went above and beyond, ensuring that our group of 13 people were taken care of and even provided a special gluten-free menu for my sister who has dietary restrictions. The ambiance of the winery was also charming, with picturesque vineyard views adding to the overall experience. We left Antonelli San Marco with full hearts and satisfied palates, eager to return for another unforgettable visit.
