“We love the setup of this winery with seating at different locations, on deck overlooking the scenery; or under olive trees; or screened porch in case weather not accommodating. The hotel portion and the landscape with pond are fantastic. The wine tasting was good on price/value. Unfortunately we were there on the day no restaurants opened, so I can’t comment on the food. We enjoyed our afternoon scrolling around.”

“Very dog friendly winery. It felt bigger than a lot of the wineries we passed by. It was also a lot more crowded. Decent amount of parking, and they had a pizza truck the day we were here (which we did not try). We kept getting harassed by yellow jackets, which was surprising since it's the dead of winter, but they mostly left us alone. They were very friendly here.”

“I loved this visit to Bella! I’ve been twice before; it’s a favorite spot due to the small, family nature of it. It’s Sonoma County winemaking the way it should be… local, connected, fun (I.e., not stuffy and corporate). This time around we took the tour, which I recommend if you want an intro into the process, or if you just want to know more about Bella Vineyards’ winemaking. You taste wine on the go throughout the tour, which I thought was a nice touch. Garrett hosted our tour and was excellent - willing to answer questions, have fun, and go with the vibe of the group. He was also very knowledgeable of the local wineries, restaurants, history, etc. One bit of advice… you likely need a reservation to get the most out of your time. Sure, you may get to taste the wine without one, but you won’t have the same experience or attention (especially if they are busy).”

“I discovered this gem and first met Sally about 23 years ago and it is always a treat to return. Such a lovely setting with nice wines. We visited over the weekend before the 4th and it was quite busy. We had a nice picnic packed, which was enjoyed by the bluffs. I travel everywhere with my registered service dog and though he enjoyed a nap under the picnic table, I try to support more dog friendly businesses. I was surprised to see they are not dog friendly. We will be back soon when on the Mendocino coast!”

The property is beautiful and the history of the vineyard is really interesting. This is a unique experience in the Napa Valley! Be on time, if not early! “Had a wonderful tasting experience! We were first greeted by Isaias with some refreshing rose. Then he seated us outside in the courtyard. Jason our host was very informative about all of the wines and history of the property and each vineyard. I hadn’t visited since the remodel and it is stunning! Highly recommend visiting. I cannot wait to go back to experience a different tasting experience! Bought some magnums today enjoy over the holidays!”

“Jose was our wine educator during the tasting and he was awesome. The wine was my favorite in all of Napa and Calistoga that we went to during the week. I will be purchasing lots of their 2020 reserve because it’s more than worth it. At least till they run out, then I will switch to one of the other wines because I loved everyone we had on the tasting.”
