“I didn't stay here. It was a day out with school. But nonetheless, we did the parcour, high and low. Aquapark, mangrove, and gellyball. The latter wasn't fun, but that's not their fault. The kids from my school were cheating. But anywho, it's a great place and highly recommended for a day outing or a stay.”

“What a treat this was. Its a fabulous atmospheric building in lovely countryside. The dinner was absolutely stunning - as good as many a Michelin starred establishment. The vegetarian option was as good as if not better than the mainstream option. A good wine list and excellent service - served on a fab terrace in the middle of the building square. The rooms weren’t quite as exceptional. Maybe I am a bit prudish but I like the en-suite bathroom door to close and give some sound proofing. Breakfast was ok but a tip is to avoid the third sitting as some options weren’t replenished. That all said the dinner was so special, the place so atmospheric, the service so pleasant, I am sure we’ll be back. UPDATE: We have just been back - this time staying in an Estate room. It was just lovely. And breakfast was well organised and had plenty of choice. Absolutely this hotel deserves six stars!”
