You know it’s a great garden centre when there’s a large stainless bench for potting up plants right beside the outside till, with all the essentials for doing it the right way. The prices of all plants are terrific, cheaper and better than the bigger chains. The quality and selection of seedlings is exceptional and they have some of the most amazing plant pots I’ve ever seen. These guys have great taste and knowledge in gardening, I highly recommend a visit if you love gardening.”

I was served by a woman who had been working there for many years and has seen me numerous times while she was stocking shelves. Her customer service was horrible. Service with a scowl. Sighing, attitude, banging my things down on the counter, impatient with me because as a senior I was slow. I felt put down and unwelcome. I decided then and there not to buy the goods. Thinking back, many of the staff there are unfriendly and look at you as if you are dirt under their feet. I must point out that there are some lovely staff members too. I am now going to boycott Kmart and take my business elsewhere. Those unfriendly staff, think yourselves lucky you have a job. Remember customers pay your wages.”
