“Located in the Carrefour de L'estrie shopping mall, it's still à la mode as the French say, if you want style, decent quality and low prices (for the house brand, Le 31). Also, a good selection of quality designer brands are available at a luxury price. A very well-designed store on one level with regular turnover. The men's fashion catered more to youth, but there are excellent formal men's suits, pants, shirts and accessories. To round out the clothing review, a small shoe selection is available as well as coats and winter wear (seasonal). Parking is plentiful and customer service available and not pushy. Brush up on your French though, most of Quebec outside Montreal is Anglophobic. If your French is rusty, try and find a younger male CS rep. They tend to be more accommodating.”

However I’ve noticed lately that some (1or2) male clerks will literally get within 5 cm of me to grab a product without providing a heads-up so that I get out of the way. I happen not to be a piece of furniture and therefore find this incredibly disrespectful. At some point, one of them just pushed my cart away from the narrow space in front a the cash registry to pass behind me (again with no more than 10cm behind me) as I was paying. There was clearly a larger path he could have used at the self-check out but instead decided to push my cart away and charge ahead as if I wasn’t there. If you’re going to be in someone’s personal space, just say ”excuse me” to make your presence known and out of respect. I don’t assume people want me in their personal space without warning and the same applies to them.”

“We stumbled across Le Cartel because of the monkey and T-Rex paper papier-mâché figures at the front. The clothing is made of high quality materials and the prices are really reasonable. I learned that they like to collab with artists to create limited edition collections. I only wish they would stock more smaller sizes. I ended up not getting anything because the didn’t have small in the items I wanted. I was able to get them at the location in Vieux Port (not on Google Maps but attached to Café Olympico).”

They've also got many parts on display in a variety of materials including PLA/TPU/PETG/Nylon, so you can experience what parts in these materials actually look and feel like BEFORE spending dozens upon dozens of hours trying to get them to print properly.
