The menu has been narrowed down to one bowl of katsudon, and the restaurant is only open for three and a half hours, three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. “I remained surprised to find such a place in Nakano: when I first booked my accommodation here I thought it was a plain area, instead I found this beautiful street full of shops, restaurants and street food. Also, the street is attached to Nakano Broadway (another small Mall), the area is surrounded by tons of small restaurants and it is just 1m walk from the North entrance/exit of Nakano Station. I loved every single corner of it, from the location to the offer! A lot of shops offer Tax free and in quite the majority of the shops I visited there was somebody able to speak a bit of English. Good food, good prices and great atmosphere! Rather you live or are staying in Nakano or not, it is worth a visit!”

“4.5 stars Only two groups at a time are allowed into the shop. The owners early pay attention to hygiene and are very careful. The service was excellent and everything is meticulously displayed. It feels like being in a candy shop because there are so many attractive looking things that you cannot normally find at cake shops here in Japan. It's very authentic and just by looking at it you know that the owner has had experience living in France. There are marshmallows and hard candies and even breads and quiche. The hazelnut cake in this picture was impeccable and the mousse was airy and light and not overly sweet or heavy. The nuts were perfectly caramelized and delicious. The Frasier strawberry cake had really nice mousseline... buttercream and custard filling and the strawberries were really fresh and sweet and the sponge was not dry. The chestnut cake was excellent as well. This shop's cakes taste different...... I don't know how to explain it but it's not a typical Japanese-owned French pastry shop. It's authentic and French yet not overly heavy and sweet as French desserts off and can be. The shop doesn't use much alcohol and most of the cakes because the owner said it's better that each ingredient shine and show it's true profile rather than be drowned by the strong taste of alcohol. Don't go at lunch time because it closes for lunch. It's an incredibly small family- run shop. It's one of the best cake shops in this ward in Tokyo.”

“Sometimes Russian food is good too! 5 minutes walk from Asakusa Station, Visited "Bona Festa". BRONZE AWARD for 3 consecutive years until 2020 This is a Russian restaurant. I made a reservation for 11:30 on a weekday. Russian-style cabbage rolls 3,620 yen Lunch course: classic borscht and cabbage rolls I asked for it. As the weather gets colder, borscht is great! It is delicious with the flavor of the meat and the sourness of the soup. It's warming up! The cabbage rolls are simmered for 8 hours. Almost melty, with mille-feuille-like cabbage. Ground beef with tomato and sour cream sauce It goes great and is delicious. The final hot coffee looked surprising. There's whipped cream on top and fructose on the rim of the wine glass. It's delicious. It was delicious till the end. [Course content] ①Omakase salad ②Soup: Tomato-flavored borscht soup (or cream soup with acupuncture points) or grilled sea urchin and egg soup) ③Main: Russian-style cabbage rolls boiled in melty sauce (or Russian style soft hamburger) or Wagyu fillet stroganoff or scallops with sea urchin sauce With rye bread ④Dessert: Homemade pudding ⑤Coffee (or tea) It was delicious till the end. Even if the Russian government is to blame for the Ukraine war There's nothing wrong with Russian food!”

“Straight up, I did not think this was particularly exemplary for unagi. Save your dollars!!! The omakase course was wonderful, serving a concept of "zero-waste." Everything from the eel is used, including the spine. It was delightful, but for $212 a pop, the flavors of the eel did not rival those of their tamago dishes. Severely disappointed. The eggs were beautiful though. A medley of flavors that speaks to your soul. So comforting. The lacquerware and clayware were amazing and a delight to the eyes. Please do observe them in greater detail. They deserve that kind of attention. However, the eel skin/innards skewers were particularly unfortunate. My mom got a stick that was filled to the brim with fins, and rather dangerously firm pieces of bone. We asked our hostess if this was normal since none of the three other skewers had ANY hard pieces. She insisted that they were small parts of the fin but my mom kept pulling out shards of bone. She opted to not eat it. Our hostess/proprietor of the establishment deigned to not apologize for such a mishap (perhaps due to a language barrier? But there was no effort to communicate this). What an insult.”

“We specialize in third-floor pools. There aren't many courses, but it's good because it's not crowded on weekdays. However, I think there are people everywhere, but sometimes there are a small number of people who swim at their own pace in the middle or chase after each other, so it's a matter of luck that you can swim comfortably. The water depth is not as deep as in Okudo or Mizumoto, Katsushika Ward, as it is not a place where tournaments are held. There is good ventilation, but the poolside feels a little cold in the fall and winter. Of course there is a heating room. The shower and toilet (complete with washlet) are clean and free of red mold. But compared to Katsushika Ward pool. 210 yen for 2 hours (even if you stay longer), 10 yen for coin lockers. The underground parking lot costs 300 yen for 2 hours. It only costs 200 yen depending on the timing. The dehydrator is no longer available since last year. It was for household use, so it seems like it was mistreated by children and broke. Please use public facilities with care.”

“The shop is located on the second floor of Tokyo Ichibangai, in a corner of an area where many izakaya shops are concentrated. For lunch, the all-you-can-eat sea bream meal seems to be recommended, so I chose the ginger grilled and grilled fish bowl (1200 yen) from the lineup. At first glance, it seemed like the cost performance was good, but for the first time in a long time, I was disappointed and I feel like I wasted a meal. The signature sea bream rice was dry and had a dry texture. The sea bream meat was just a decoration, and it looked like brown rice colored with soy sauce. I was so disappointed in the sea bream meal that I couldn't even finish it, let alone refill it. The grilled fish was mackerel, and the skin was crispy, but for some reason it didn't budge when I tried to loosen it with chopsticks, and ended up biting into it... Since there are many restaurants in the area that can be used for lunch, it will be excluded from future candidates.”
