The arugula that we got on the mozzarella and salami pizza was the best I've ever had. Who knew arugula could be that mind blowing? It's great to know this place is locally run and still has a quaint vibe. Everyone who worked there was so kind, we can't wait to come back.”

“They don't always have what you want or the best price but they have the best and most knowledge for service. Sometimes that's worth paying a little extra. They are also closer to downtown Newberg than the big box stores gas means something. Price not always the best tand when they do have sales they don't always have the item they have on sale. Really friendly staff. Usually a fast check out as they quickly add cashier's to keep it moving”

“So, REI just always comes through. Modus operandi. Seriously, I’m in there with a seemingly defective product, a high level of “I rode nearly 10 miles to work in the dark because this light set…” frustration and they say things like, “Ok.” and “I’m here to listen.” and, better still, “We’ll make this right.” And they did. Yeah, you can find cheaper and free of everything somewhere other than in this tried and true, real world co-op, but maybe not two or three times in a two week spread like I did with this particular hassle. They were so good to me while taking in my frowning unhappiness. For instance, I can’t return either that cool sweatshirt I found on the ground in Westmoreland Park for a different size or that dented, garbage pile fender that won’t make it on my aged bike anyway. You know? Alright REI. I still can’t afford the lifetime membership. Yet. Maybe. “So there.” they must be saying. Thanks a bunch. Earned respect.”

Lots of name brand items and the gems I spoke of are interspersed throughout many of the well-stocked aisles. Store is clean, staff is fun and helpful, and during Covid, they are taking the necessary steps to keep shoppers safe. Check out is pretty quick and moves along nicely even when busy. The Cascade Station layout can sometimes cause traffic and parking issues, but a little patience goes a long way.”

“This store is a mess. Dirty scuffed floors, racks so close it’s a clear ADA violation. Soft lines in every area have bare shelves, clothes all over the floor, esp in Women’s, no one was working fitting rooms, signage was skewed in cosmetics and falling down. Why did they upgrade this store, then let it go? There’s no consistent visual merchandising here, mannequins without complete outfits, accessory and purse tables were full off merch from other areas. Saw a “we’re hiring” sign. They need a lot of help and some corporate attention, because This store is just a total disaster.”

“Walked in there ready to spend upwards of $500...Employees constantly following and watching but never willing to answer a question or willing to be of any help. Ridiculous. They can keep their cheap made clothes...not even worth the "discounted" price after trying to find something for almost an hour...asked where I might find the item I wanted - twice - and they acted like they heard me but don't care. Had to remove myself, before nuttin' up and having some good old fun...Ptown style.”
