“My son and I had a great time. Although their website says it’s free for first visit. I paid 80+ for two of us including the gear hire. It would have been nice if it was discussed at the counter. I could have done the casual weekly membership and it would have been cheaper. Parking on site is limited. For someone who doesn’t live in the City make sure you download the App for street Parking. It’s my second time doing the wall climbing and I must say I am enjoying it. The demo was very informative and helpful for beginners like us. The place is beginner friendly and they have bouldering options as well.”

“It's actually a decent sized city park, and it's flat enough for people to play lunch time soccer on. There's BBQ facilities and a public toilet though I'd probably recommend you walk across the river and use the facilities at the crown instead for a much more comfortable and cleaner experience. Right next to the yarra river which would be awesome except it has an overrun of seagulls and I have seen rats scouring past from the abandoned Rebecca Walk precinct area at the back.”

“This sprawling aquatic complex has all the bells and whistles: multiple pools, spa, sauna, gym, cafe, splash play for kids, plentiful free parking and more. And rules, so many rules… you can’t even walk to the counter to pay for entry, you have to wait at a sign to be “called”. Adult entry is $8.20 and over $13 if you want to use the spa and sauna as well. Staff serve very slowly, so expect to wait. But despite (or perhaps because of?) it’s feature-packed design, it’s a curiously soulless and sterile place, that we just didn’t warm to. Maybe it was seeing a lap swimmer rudely take over the two measly “splash and play” lanes when both outdoor pools were nearly totally devoted to people like him. When queried, not by the staff mind you, he said he was “splashing and playing just in a straight line”. I think it’s just the level of entitlement that ruins this one. We wouldn’t return, but if you had kids, they’d love it.”

I played only their back 9, Hole 12,13 and the 14 are the most iconic hole on the back nine as it on the adjacent of Swan lake. Fairways at considerable maintained well, the green must be just re cored recently as it a bit sandy but no big issue for me. “As far as NSW national Park campgrounds go. This is five star. It's situated on a meeting of two rivers, so a valley into two canyons, downriver is colo river across a large distance. The canyon is very dramatic and late sun colour makes it amazing. Morning sun is as late as 10am. The balance of sunlight, open space, shady riverside, amazing landscape. The camp spacing is good for serenity, camp fire circles only, no gas BBQ. Lots of wildlife, you can feel the presence of the great open space beyond into the national Park. We walked downriver an easy trail for an hour to a magic freshwater creek running in then back along the riverside. We also walked to the base of the towering cliffs to a waterfall running out of a fissure on the Northside. Credit to the national parks staff for maintaining a beautiful campground.”
