“If you love connecting with nature this is definitely the place . During week days it’s calm and serene you can cycle, skate and walk on the paved trails or engage in sports (basketball, volleyball, long tennis , baseball courts available) , bring kids to the playground, seat by the water and journal or read; It’s absolutely beautiful. Crowded over the weekends and sometimes no parking space”

Dieppe Park

“an underrated park with cool views - water front, high rises, bio dome, ferris wheel - you name it! saw a lot of people fishing, very interesting.”

Spotts Park
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Open until 06:00 PM

401 S Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77007, United States

“Threw a small birthday party here and set up some tents. It was a fun time and the park looked nice. I did see some broken window glass from a car in the parking lot and there was also a sign warning about break ins. So just be aware of that. We didn't experience any issues though. I also loved that the basketball court was under a large awning.”

Flow Yoga Cedar Park
4.9
( 8 reviews )
Open until 07:00 PM

202 Walton Way #200, Cedar Park, TX 78613, United States

“I love Flow! Great studio with different classes for all levels. Theresa is the instructor I go to the most and she’s AMAZING. She always gives modifications, and I feel like my practice and ability has really expanded since taking her class. Also - studios can be expensive but I think Flow is super reasonable and offers pricing options for different budgets. Highly recommend!”

River Legacy Nature Center
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

703 NW Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, TX 76006, United States

“Been here a few times, first when it was being built, then developed, and now it seems to be a genuinely fine science center full of fun and interactive items suitable for small groups of maybe 10-15 kids, possibly upwards of 25 (in the paid exploration part). The price is absolutely affordable. And the experience is worth it, if only to show the kiddos some of the local wildlife, including some venomous snakes as a cautionary tale. And again, absolutely worth the very affordable price! I sure wish their summer and school year programs didn't fill up so quickly!”

White Rock Ymca
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 10:00 PM

7112 Gaston Ave, Dallas, TX 75214, United States

“I love the Y. It's dependable, always clean, people are nice, it's not overly busy, and the classes are great. I like John's spin, Christina's body pump, and recently got into Monica's strength intervals. The new layout has opened up the free weights which had some congestion. One improvement would be to actively announce when the pool will be open, and the hours when the season comes. We have a small kiddo who loves the water.”

Semones Family Ymca (town North)

Open until 09:00 PM

4332 Northaven Rd, Dallas, TX 75229, United States

“I'd give em' about a two. I bet there is not one person working there who has ever heard of Fitzpatrick skin scale. It's not a race thing, but a skin colour thing which is neither right nor wrong, but it only is, but most people have a preference. I am so white I glow when i'm wet and they shut the indoor pool down all the time and told me to go swim outside. Skin cancer really sucks, the crud has to be dug out and they cut on your skin. It's ugly and no fun at all. All the needles, turned my nose into a dart board. Being whitey ain't so great some times! 1 and 2's get it the worst usually from the suns rays. I swam backstroke in the outdoor pool in the water at the Y for one summer looking up at the sun; i had skin cancer in my nose within 2 years. The Y is a Generational disaster, this why they are declining. If i don't die before i turn 65, preventative healthcare is all there is. I stayed cancer free for 5 years, only get whiter, but stay out of sunlight and in the shadows and the night. One size does not fit all, we have different biological traits passed on by our ancestors.”

Crunch Fitness - Arlington
3.9
( 9 reviews )
Open until 11:00 PM

5906 S Cooper St, Arlington, TX 76017, United States

“I was hesitant on coming in to this gym due to the reviews given about the staff, but I went in myself and gave them a try. The gym was clean, the staff were welcoming and showed me around. They explain the policy’s very well before starting up a membership, and people just don’t seem to remember or act like victims when the employees correct the member. They are just following the rules. We are all humans and not perfect, but at least the gym is in perfect shape. I’m not here for the employees just the gym!”

“Decent gym for the price! Unlike other LA Fitness locations, there is a good collection of equipment for cardio and strength training. Mostly clean but can get crowded with teens in the evening hours. Best to work out late mornings.”
